Registering for HSBC SecurePay is simple

To access HSBC SecurePay, you must be registered for online@hsbc. Then, log on and select ‘Verified by Visa’ or ‘MasterCard® SecureCode’ under ‘Services’ in the left navigation panel. Learn more on how to register for Secure Pay from the online demo at www.hsbc.com.my.

Registration is FREE for both SecurePay and online@hsbc.

Flexible Payment Options

You may settle your credit card account(s) in full each month or pay the minimum amount due (from as little as 5% or RM50, whichever is higher).

Apart from making online payments through our Internet Banking service, you have these other options:

SMS Balance Enquiry Service

We have now made it more convenient for you to manage your account through SMS enquiries to us at 36722. With this new service from HSBC, you can check:

Your credit card outstanding balance, available credit limit and statement due date

The available balance on your Reward Points

Note: Cardholders are required to register for this service before they can SMS for the enquiries. Service is available from 7am until 3am daily.

Each message sent by HSBC will be charged RM0.30 per SMS unless otherwise stated. Normal SMS charges apply for requests sent to 36722 - please refer to your telecommunications operator.

Using the Service

To register for the service:

Type SUB<space>the last 4 digits of your ID* number and send to 36722

e.g. SUB 5888

Note: The last 4 digits of your ID* number and mobile phone number used for registration must match the Bank’s records for a successful registration for the service.

Worldwide acceptance and assistance

Your Card and ATM Services

Your credit card gives you full access to our extensive ATM network nationwide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This facility covers a wide range of automated services:

Cash advance from credit card account

Withdraw up to RM3,000 a day per card, subject to your available credit line*.

Fund transfers from credit card account to bank deposit account

Transfer up to RM3,000 a day per card to your deposit account with HSBC, subject to your available credit line.

Credit card inquiry

Check on your outstanding balance (primary account only), latest statement balance, minimum payment due and payment due date.

Credit card repayment

Settle your credit card bills by depositing your cash (notes only) or cheque into your account via any of our Online Express Cash / Cheque Deposit Machines.

Personal Identification Number (PIN) change

Change your PIN as many times as you like to any six digit number of your choice.

Access to your deposit accounts

Use your credit card like a normal ATM card by nominating any two of your personal deposit accounts with HSBC to be encoded onto your card. You will be given full access to those accounts.

MasterCard Emergency Card Replacement / Cash Advance Service

Gold / Classic MasterCard Cardholders from HSBC will enjoy a sense of confidence and security on their travels at home and abroad through this emergency service.

In the event you lose your card, please call any of the following numbers to report the loss. You may also request an emergency replacement card and / or emergency cash advance when making the report.

HOW TO READ YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT

1 . Credit Card Account Number This is your credit card account number. Please indicate this number on the back of your cheque when making payment and in any correspondence to us.

2. Statement Date This is the date your monthly statement was generated.

3. Rewards Every ringgit charged to your card is equivalent to 1 Reward point (excluding petrol purchase, balance transfer, cash advance, fees, bank charges and taxes). This reflects your reward points transactions as of the last statement date.

4. Minimum Amount Due This is total of the 'arrears of payment', 'current due' and 'overlimit amount'.

5. Arrears of Payment Balance unpaid on the minimum amount due from the previous month.

6. Current Due 5% of the statement balance.

7. Overlimit This shows the amount utilised above your approved credit line.

8. Payment Due Date Please forward your payment (at least the minimum amount due) by this date.

9. Post Date This is the date of the charges billed to your account.

10. Transaction Date This is the actual transaction date made with your card.

11. Transaction Details All transactions including Balance Transfers and monthly instalment amounts are itemised with brief details of where the charges were made. Supplementary cardholders' charges are itemised under their respective names and account numbers.

12. Transaction Amount This lists the transaction amount for each purchase, cash advance, Balance Transfer, monthly instalment amount, payment received and other charges in Malaysian Ringgit.

13. Principal's Name, Account Number and Credit Limit This will be followed by a list of transactions done by the primary cardholder.

14. Credit Used As of Last Statement This shows how much of your credit limit you have used, carried forward from your last statement. The limit used consists of the previous month's statement balance and any unbilled portions of your Instalment Payment Plans.

15. Payment This is the date and payment received by the statement date.

16. Foreign Transaction If you made any transactions overseas, the relevant foreign currency and the amount converted to Malaysian Ringgit will be listed.

17. Instalment Payment Plan Monthly instalment amount due each month for repayment of your instalment payment plans.

18. Cash Advance Any advance made over the counter or from an ATM will be itemised. The relevant cash advance fee will be listed under the respective card account.

19. Annual Fee This is the yearly fee for your card.

20. Late Payment Charges This charge is due to late or non-payment or payment less than the previous month's minimum amount.

21. Supplementary Cardholder's Name and Account Number If you have more than one supplementary cardholder, each card is listed separately, followed by its respective transactions.

22. Local Transaction Transactions made in Malaysia.

23. Cash Advance Fee Each cash advance will be subjected to a cash advance fee.

24. Finance Charge The finance charge / interest rate is imposed on outstanding cash advance balances, balance transfer and other interest rate plan balances from transaction date AND imposed on unpaid retail transaction balances after the interest-free period.

25. Total Credit Used Account balance inclusive of your unbilled portions of your instalment plans.

26. Your Statement Balance This is the total outstanding balance for this statement minus the unbilled portions on your instalment plans.

27. Standing Instruction If you maintain a current / savings with us, you may opt for a standing instruction settlement at a percentage of your choice from a minimum percentage of 5% on your statement balance. This service is free of charge.

28. Instalment Payment Plan Details This reflects the total instalment payment plans you have registered for as of statement date.

29. Payment Details By Cheque Please indicate the payment amount, cheque number, name of the issuing bank and commission (if applicable) in this column. Enclose this portion together with your cheque.

CARA MEMBACA PENYATA AKAUN KAD KREDIT-i ANDA1. Nombor Akaun Kad Kredit Ini adalah nombor akaun kad kredit anda. Sila tuliskan nombor ini pada

bahagian belakang cek apabila membuat bayaran dan dalam semua urusan surat-menyurat kepada kami.

2. Tarikh Penyata Ini adalah tarikh pada penyata bulanan yang dikeluarkan.3. Pulangan Tunai Setiap kali anda berbelanja dengan Kad Kredit-i MPower Visa anda, nikmatilah

pulangan tunai 0.5% untk semua perbelanjaan runcit. 4. Amaun Minimum Perlu Dibayar Ini merupakan jumlah tunggakan bayaran, jumlah semasa yang

perlu dibayar dan jumlah yang melebihi had kredit.5. Tunggakkan Bayaran Baki yang terhutang atas amaun minimum yang perlu dibayar dari bulan

14 Kredit Diguna Pada Penyata Terakhir Ini menunjukkan jumlah had kredit anda yang telah digunakan, di bawa ke hadapan dari penyata terakhir. Had yang digunakan mengandungi baki penyata bulanan terdahulu dan mana-mana bahagian pelan bayaran ansuran anda yang belum dipenyatakan.

15 Bayaran Ini adalah tarikh dan jumlah bayaran yang diterima bagi tarikh penyata.16 Transaksi Asing Jika anda membuat sebarang transaksi di luar negara, matawang asing yang

berkenaan dan jumlah yang ditukar kepada Ringgit Malaysia akan disenaraikan.17 Pelan Bayaran Ansuran Pembayaran ansuran bulanan yang harus dibayar bagi pelan bayaran

ansuran anda.18 Wang Pendahuluan Sebarang pendahuluan yang dibuat menerusi kaunter atau dari ATM akan

yang tertunggak, pindahan baki tertunggak dan baki pelan bayaran ansuran yang lain dari tarikh transaksi DAN dikenakan ke atas baki transaksi runcit yang tertunggak selepas tempoh caj pengurusan.

25 Jumlah Penggunaan Kredit Baki Akaun termasuk mana-mana pelan bayaran ansuran anda yang belum dibayar.

26 Baki Penyata Anda Ini adalah jumlah baki penyata tolak mana-mana pelan bayaran ansuran anda yang belum dibayar.

27 Arahan Tetap Jika anda mempunyai akaun semasa /akaun simpanan dengan kami, anda boleh membayar melalui arahan tetap mengikut peratusan yang anda pilih dari peratusan minimum sebanyak 5% dari baki penyata anda. Tiada caj akan dikenakan untuk servis ini.

28 Butiran Pelan Bayaran Ansuran Ini menunjukan jumlah pelan bayaran ansuran yang didaftar pada tarikh penyata.

29 Butiran Bayaran Dengan Cek Sila nyatakan jumlah bayaran, nombor cek, nama bank dan komisen (jika ada) dalam ruangan ini. Lampirkan keratan ini bersama cek anda untuk membuat pembayaran.

CARA MEMBACA PENYATA AKAUN KAD KREDIT-i ANDA1. Nombor Akaun Kad Kredit Ini adalah nombor akaun kad kredit anda. Sila tuliskan nombor ini pada

bahagian belakang cek apabila membuat bayaran dan dalam semua urusan surat-menyurat kepada kami.

2. Tarikh Penyata Ini adalah tarikh pada penyata bulanan yang dikeluarkan.3. Pulangan Tunai Setiap kali anda berbelanja dengan Kad Kredit-i MPower Visa anda, nikmatilah

pulangan tunai 0.5% untk semua perbelanjaan runcit. 4. Amaun Minimum Perlu Dibayar Ini merupakan jumlah tunggakan bayaran, jumlah semasa yang

perlu dibayar dan jumlah yang melebihi had kredit.5. Tunggakkan Bayaran Baki yang terhutang atas amaun minimum yang perlu dibayar dari bulan

sebelumnya.6. Amaun Semasa Perlu Dibayar 5% jumlah semasa kena dibayar daripada baki penyata.7. Melebihi Had Ini menunjukkan jumlah yang digunakan melebihi had kredit yang diluluskan.8. Tarikh Akhir Pembayaran Sila buat bayaran (sekurang-kurangnya amaun minimum yang perlu

dibayar) selewat-lewatnya pada tarikh ini.9. Tarikh Catatan Ini adalah tarikh caj dibilkan kepada akaun anda.10. Tarikh Transaksi Ini adalah tarikh sebenar transaksi dibuat pada kad anda.11. Huraian Transaksi Semua transaksi termasuk Pindahan Baki Tertunggak dan amaun-amaun

ansuran bulanan dicatat dengan ringkas di mana caj dibuat. Caj pemegang kad tambahan disenaraikan di bawah nama dan nombor akaun masing-masing.

12 Jumlah Transaksi Ia menyenaraikan jumlah transaksi untuk setiap belian, wang pendahuluan, pindahan baki tertunggak, amaun ansuran bulanan, bayaran yang diterima dan lain-lain caj dalam Ringgit Malaysia.

13 Nama Pemegang Kad Utama, Nombor Akaun dan Had Kredit Ini akan disusuli dengan senarai transaksi yang dilakukan oleh pemegang kad utama.

14 Kredit Diguna Pada Penyata Terakhir Ini menunjukkan jumlah had kredit anda yang telah digunakan, di bawa ke hadapan dari penyata terakhir. Had yang digunakan mengandungi baki penyata bulanan terdahulu dan mana-mana bahagian pelan bayaran ansuran anda yang belum dipenyatakan.

15 Bayaran Ini adalah tarikh dan jumlah bayaran yang diterima bagi tarikh penyata.16 Transaksi Asing Jika anda membuat sebarang transaksi di luar negara, matawang asing yang

berkenaan dan jumlah yang ditukar kepada Ringgit Malaysia akan disenaraikan.17 Pelan Bayaran Ansuran Pembayaran ansuran bulanan yang harus dibayar bagi pelan bayaran

ansuran anda.18 Wang Pendahuluan Sebarang pendahuluan yang dibuat menerusi kaunter atau dari ATM akan

dicatatkan. Yuran wang pendahuluan yang berkenaan akan disenaraikan di bawah akaun kad yang berkaitan.

19 Yuran Tahunan Ini adalah yuran perkhidmatan tahunan untuk kad anda.20 Caj Pembayaran Lewat Caj ini kan dikenakan ke atas pembayaran lewat atau tiada bayaran atau

bayaran yang kurang daripada jumlah minimum yang perlu dibayar dari bulan sebelumnya.21 Nama Pemegang Kad Tambahan dan Nombor Akaun Jika anda mempunyai lebih dari satu

pemegang kad tambahan, setiap kad akan disenaraikan secara berasingan, disusuli dengan transaksi masing-masing.
