configure Forms-based Authentication
(FBA)– Create a Forms Auth database using
aspnet_regsql.exe
– Set up an initial user for administration
– “Extend” the web application that you want to make available for FBA
– Update the Central Administration web.config
– Update the web.config for the extended web
application
– Update Central Administration for FBA and the new
FBA-based site administrator
