Five Forms of Offering

1 Fine Flour

2 Oven baked cake

3 Cake baked in a pan

4 Cake baked in a frying pan

5 Crushed, roasted heads of new grainAll a wondrous picture and the perfection of the Son of God.

Unique in that it is bloodless.Talks to us about His Life.

Ps 104:3.“My meditation of Him shall be sweet.”

Death not just His Life

“This cup is the new covenant

in My blood, which is shed for you for the

remission of sins.”

Ps 49:7-8. “Let it alone forever…” OR There’s no use even talking about it.

Picture in the Ingredients

God’s picture of the humanity of Jesus.

Unleavened cakes of Flour: Smooth and soft with no rough edges.

Oil: The type of the Holy Spirit. He is the anointing.

Acts 10:38. Frankincense: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I have

found all my delight.”

Real Communion: God and His redeemed priests enjoy together the perfection of Christ.

Not Honey but Salt

Vs. 11. No natural sweetener.Honey becomes sour on heating.Jesus is sweeter and supernatural.Unchanging and constant.

Vs. 13. Season with salt.Insistence of salt.Preservative power of righteousness.

LORD, his offering shall be [of] fine flour; and he shall

pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:

...and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the

altar, [to be] an offering made by fire, of a sweet

savour unto the LORD:

...[it is] a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD

made by fire.”
