Traditions

There are three main traditions. The maple syrup festival is when they collect maple syrup. The First Fruit festival and the day of the dead are two.

There are five main dialects; Western, Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Ottawa. anim

Homes

The Ojibwa didn’t build teepees. They lived in wigwams. They were made from bent saplings, bark, and/ or hides.

Food

They hunted deer, moose, elk, and bear for animals.

For plants berries, nuts, roots, and seeds.

Tools

For tools they had bows and arrows, clubs, flails, others.
