About The OrchardThe Orchard is conveniently located near to Banbury Town Centre with many shops, bars and restaurants. The Orchard is a small development of just 16 two and three bedroom family homes, with various different designs creating an interesting street scene around a central courtyard. Each property benefits from two allocated car parking spaces per property and there is some additional car parking for visitors.

The properties will be finished to watertight shell standard allowing the new owner to benefit from a discount on their home in return for the investment of their skills and labour. In exchange for completing the project the buyer will receive a £10,000 discount on their property. Purchasers will undertake the following tasks:

• Plasterboarding internal walls and ceilings

• Fitting kitchen units

• Doors, architraves and skirting boards

• Landscaping gardens

• Painting/decorating/tiling

All materials and training are provided

A small rent is payable on the unsold share each month.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• All interested applicants must register on the Help to Buy website (www.helptobuysouth.co.uk)

• Priority will be given to applicants with a local connection to Cherwell District

• Applicants will need to show they have the commitment to complete their home and will be asked to meet with the Build! team

• Applicants household income must be less than £60,000
