Aim and Objective
• If you work in a dental team, this course is for you!• • How do you choose the courses which are relevant to you, and which
will address the gaps in your skills and knowledge?• • In this session we will run three self-assessment circuits, one for
hygienists & therapists, one for dental nurses & practice managers, and one for dentists.
• Aim: To gently test for knowledge gaps by self-assessment. This
will be in a supportive and non-competitive environment.
• Objective: To improve awareness of CPD needs and availability of courses.

• Waste amalgam disposal container if restored with amalgam, otherwise sharps bin

• Scrub with water, brush and appropriate cleaner, clean in ultrasonic bath, and rinse, autoclave
• Heavy-duty gloves, mask, safety glasses, plastic apron, open window • No soaking, separate parts, wipe external surface but don’t scrub, oil,
stand to drain, autoclave not bagged, stand to drain
