The Truth About A Life Without Adversity

A life without adversity is as boring and going nowhere as a story about a character that has no problems.

There’s no chance for growth.

No chance for the character to stopsomething, to start something new and see their lives refined so they become the hero.

IMPORTANT

Adversity, trials and tribulations are NOT easy to go through.

But, the way we view them and respond to them makes all the difference!

Page 37: The overlooked rewards and benefits of adversity

Practical Steps

• Pray and seek God. Ask for discernment and direction.• Ask ourselves:

-Is this adversity revealing something I should stop doing? -Is there something else I should do or way I should go?Am I trusting, relying, and leaning of the Lord in/through this?-Is there something new God wants me to see in/through this?-Is it causing me to grow? How?-Who do I need to share my victory with?

• Remember: Each adversity is an opportunity to succeed/overcome/grow/win, etc.

• If we can learn to view it the right way, respond to them the right way, and seek God’s direction and help through them, then we can experience the joy and positive results they’re meant to bring!
