Truly  Yours  has  been  serving  Southern  California  as  a  Full-­‐Service  Caterer  for  over  20  Years.  We  specialize  in  a  multitude  of  catered  affairs,  

including  Weddings,  Social  Events,  Corporate  Functions,  Daily  Corporate  Meal  Service  and  On-­‐

Site  or  In-­‐Home  Catered  Events.

The  Oviatt  Building,  erected  in  1927,  was  the  first  Art  Deco  building  in  Los  Angeles.    Designed  by  Albert  Walker  and  Percy  Eisen,  it  was  lavishly  

embellished  with  French  marble  and  more  than  30  tons  of  Lalique's  art  glass-­‐  the  largest  

shipment  of  its  kind  ever  to  pass  through  the  Panama  Canal.

The  Penthouse,  created  for  Oviatt's  own  use,  was  outfitted  with  Lalique's  custom  lighting  

treatments  and  exquisite  floors  and  cabinetry  by  

the  celebrated  French  firm  Saddier  et  Fils.    It  was  recognized  as  a  masterpiece  from  the  moment  of  its  completion.    The  splendor  of  the  interior  was  matched  by  the  bi-­‐level  rooftop  gardens,  which  boasted  a  small  pond  and  the  large  tennis  court  

(now  our  kitchen).

Hailed  by  Oviatt's  contemporaries  as  "a  castle  in  the  air",  the  Penthouse  was  the  of  site  legendary  

parties  for  decades.    The  Oviatt  Building  is  a  cultural  monument  and  is  listed  in  the  National  

Register  of  Historic  Places.    The  Oviatt  Penthouse  and  lobby  have  been  painstakingly  restored  to  

their  former  splendor.    The  original  site  of  Alexander  and  Oviatt  is  now  occupied  by  the  

Cicada  Restaurant,  and  the  Penthouse  continues  it’s  tradition  of  hospitality  and  glamour  as  an  

exclusive  reception  venue.

Here’s How The Process Works…

During  your  tour  of  the  Oviatt  Penthouse,  you  will  have  the  opportunity  to  view  the  entire  property  as  well  as  ask  questions.  

This  paves  the  way  towards  preparing  your  personalized  quote  which  will  provide  you  with  a  detailed  plan  and  pricing  for  your  

Ceremony  and/or  Reception.  

Your  second  meeting  includes  a  private  tasting  of  your  personalized  menu  in  our  

North  Hollywood  Tasting  Room.

Approximately  two  months  before  your  event,  we  will  meet  for  the  third  and  final  meeting,  at  which  time  we  will  discuss  your  

agenda  and  all  final  arrangements.

These  consultations  will  enable  you  to  make  informed  choices  about  your  event.  Oviatt  Events,  as  well  as  our  entire  staff,  Look  forward  to  making  your  special  day  

memorable.
