Kathan auditioned and was accepted into Macy’s Great American Marching Band. He will be performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in NY. They only take 3-4 students per state. Kathan plays trumpet. What a great accomplishment!

teacher duty day/student holiday has
been established as a hurricane make
up day. Students are expected to
report to school that day. Also, the
three early release Wednesdays in
December, 12/6, 12/13 and 12/20 will
now be regular school days!
The Panther Learning Center (PLC) will be
open on Tuesdays and Thursday during
lunch in room 4-031 and Tuesday and
Thursdays after school, from 2:45 PM—
3:30 PM. The PLC offers a variety of
learning opportunities including tutoring,
test prep, Financial Aid information and so
much more.

Sia Brain Awareness Foundation (in honor of former PRHS Student, Sia Christine
Yorker who passed away unexpectedly in 2011) offers a scholarship to a graduating
senior. They are holding a 5K Fundraiser on Saturday, October 14th at Dewey
Booster Park in Deltona.

gathered for prayer at the flag pole
in recognition of National Day of Prayer.
The prayer was lead by
FCA President William Hamilton.
