THE ‘BROKEN SOUND’ STORY The famed Joe Lee, the original golf course designer of The Old Course At Broken Sound, was quoted as saying:

“This is the most peaceful setting I’ve ever worked in the middle of one of the fastest growing areas in the country.”

The only sound that ‘broke the silence was the sound of a golfer swinging his club. Hence the name, Broken Sound, was created.
