Review:
Looking back on last Sunday's message and your notes, what was the
most memorable part for you?
Digging Deeper:
1. How would you define the word "service?" When was a time when someone did an extraordinary act of sacrificial service for you? 2. Read 1 Peter 4:7-11. What does it look like to have a servant's heart? 3. What are valid obstacles to serving others? What are invalid reasons why we don't serve others? 4. Read Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10; and Ephesians 4:11- 13. What are your spiritual gifts? Why is it important to use our spiritual gifts? 5. How can you use your spiritual gifts on Sunday when the church meets and during your small group? How can you use them at work, at school, with your family, with friends, and normal day-to-day life to show people Jesus' love? 6. Pray over each other that each may know their spiritual gifts, be empowered to use their spiritual gifts, for opportunities to use them, and for the courage to use them. 7. (If you have more time) Read John 13:1-17. What do you found astounding about this passage? Do you have the heart of a servant? In which ways do you see it and in what ways is there room for improvement?

Congregational Meeting & Church Vote
Notice of Annual Election on June 27, 2021
The Nominating Team presents the following nominees to the
members of Woodbridge Community Church for a vote to the
corresponding positions stated below:
Dr. Matt Wang - Deacon
Julie Caballero - Deaconess
Allison Gibson—Deaconess
Steve Mendoza—Deacon
Election shall be held immediately after the Worship Service.
OFFICE OF DEACON AND DEACONESS NOMINEES Dr. Matt Wang
Dear Woodbridge Family. My name is Matt Wang, my wife is Christine, and our three kids are Noah, Ethan and Lauren. We started attending WCC in 2003 where we have been blessed to be able to worship, fellowship and serve in connection with many of you. I write this brief intro as the nominating committee
has put forth my name as a potential deacon on the church’s leader-ship team. I previously served in this respect from 2010-2016. If you, through Biblical inspection and prayer, are led to confirm my nomi-nation, my commitment will be to serve, “…as unto the Lord,” by His grace, Spirit, and strength. If you don’t yet know me very well, please don’t hesitate to pull me aside. I would be more than happy to chat and share my testimony with you. (Continued on back page)
OFFICE OF DEACON AND DEACONESS NOMINEES Julie Caballero
I began my walk with the Lord in August 1995. I
have been attending Woodbridge Community
Church since 1999 and have served in the AWANA
children’s ministry, on the Welcome Team and on
the Worship Team.
Allison Gibson
My name is Allison Gibson, and I'm 27 years old. Woodbridge Community Church has always held a special place for me, because this is the church where I grew up. My family attended from 1995-2003, and some of my earliest memories involve AWANA and VBS and Sunday School here. After I graduated from Biola University about 5 years ago, God brought me back to
WCC, and it has been a huge blessing to be part of this fellowship and community, and to serve in the Young Adults, Media, and Wor-ship Team Ministries. I also currently work as a full-time missionary with an organization called KidZ at Heart International as the Direc-tor of Visual and Social Media, and so many of you have blessed me by supporting me in that ministry. I look forward to being able to serve this community as part of the leadership team!
Steve Mendoza
Hello! My name is Steve Mendoza and I have been at Woodbridge Community Church since 2012. I started serving through the Worship Ministry in 2013. Playing the drums with the Worship Team gracefully opened my heart to Christian praise music. Since January 2016, I have had the privilege of being the 5th & 6th
Grade Ministry Coordinator. I love our church family, the prayer, and encouragement.
