Hi everybody!!
Thanks for being here! After more than 30 years working as a teacher
of English and 10 working as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign
language in Barcelona , here I am again, back in Neuquén with this
project.
First of all,I’d like to thank all the people who’ve helped me:
My family who believed in me and my dream, my friends whp heard my doubts and fears, my
sponsors that have made it attainable and you -my readers- who complete the circle and
wtthout whom it wouldn’t have been possible.
This mix between a magazine and a newspaper will be delivered every fortnight for free and I
hope you’ll enjoy reading it.
A new year has just started and I’m sure you’ve made your resolutions for 2015. Would you
like to share?
I’m looking forward to receiving your feedback about anything you are interested in our email-
address:
Please, try to write it in no more than 100 words. The best one will appear in our next issue.
See you,
Mir

MICROSTORIES
In each village I used to gather around forty or fifty interested
spectators who would buy their tickets in advance to see a
clown in English for the first time; and while they were
tackiing thier seats at the theatre, I would flee to another
town.

Neuquén offers several options to visit the province. One of
them is the one that combines the tastes and perfumes of the
soil besides an amazing paleontological experience.
You can visit the traditional orchards, the vineyards plus the
Paleontology Museum where you can admire the fossils from
our most ancient past.

Mycestro hands on:
An innovative wireless mouse
with compromises. It's a 3D mouse that you wear on your finger and operate using
gestures and thumb actions. The Mycestro wirelessly connects
to your computer, tablet or other device and allows you to control
it from up to 30 feet away.
When the finger-mounted "3D mouse" called Mycestro blew
through its Kickstarter funding goal last year, it seemed like the
device might be a hit. The makers of the device were only looking
for $100,000, but ended up raising over $350,000 by the time the
campaign was over.
But now, nearly a year after the device began shipping to the
crowdfunding backers of the device, and after all the initial excite-
ment, we haven't heard much chatter about the device. That
could change now that the company has finally made the device
available to the general public as of last week.

Google launches “smart” spoon to help
steady shaking hands. Drones, self-driving cars, robots, and balloons providing
internet access – Google is stretching a long way from
search. Now the company has added a “smart” spoon to
its portfolio of hi-tech products.
Google has started promoting its Liftware spoon, a uten-
sil that uses hundreds of algorithms to sense how a
hand is shaking and makes instant adjustments to stay
balanced.
The product is aimed at people with essential tremors
and Parkinson’s disease and, according to the com-
pany, can reduce shaking of the spoon bowl by an ave-
rage of 76%.
Essential tremors and Parkinson’s disease affect more
than 10 million people worldwide, including Google co-
founder Sergey Brin’s mother. Brin has also said he has
a genetic mutation associated with higher rates of Par-
kinson’s. He has donated more than $50m to research
for a cure.
The spoons are now available for $295.

Santino - Café & Bistró.
The Schroeder family has been part of the rugged and mystical Patagonia landscape since 1927. In 2001, when starting their dream of winemaking, construction of the winery was halted unexpectedly when the remains of a 75 million year old “Titanosaur Aeolosaurus” was found – one of the largest dinosaur fossils ever discovered on Earth. The Schroeders named it “Saurus” and it now resides underground encased behind a glass wall watching over the
barrels of wine.
Deseado means loved – and it’s hard not to fall in love with
this cutie. A fresh, sweet white peach and orange blossom
nose leads to fine, foamy bubbles. Sweet, floral, orange,
kiwi, spice and delicate tropical fruit flavours are in flight in
the mouth, with juicy, mouthwatering acidity. This would be
lovely with brunch, or post dinner with marmalade tart or
lemon meringue pie.

STAR WARS: EPISODE 7
There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?“. So begins the first teaser trailer released of the highly anti-cipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the seventh
installment reviving tales of a galaxy far, far away.
The 88-second clip from producer J.J. Abrams features a handful of scenes with newcomers to the franchise, including John Boyega in a Stormtrooper suit, Daisy Ridley on a hovering craft in the desert and Oscar Isaac in a X-Wing fighter jet, the craft of the Rebel
Alliance.
"The Force Awakens" will be set 30 years after "Return of the Jedi," the third film in George Lucas' first "Star Wars" trilogy released between 1977 and 1983. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on Dec. 18, 2015. Not featured in the new trailer are returning stars Harri-son Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, Peter May-hew (Chewbacca), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2), or new additions Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Max Von Sydow and
Gwendoline Christie.
Shakespeare First Folio
found in French library. A rare and valuable William Shakespeare First Folio has been discovered in a provincial town in France. The book – one of only 230 believed to still exist - had lain undisturbed in the library at Saint-Omer in the north of France for 200 years. Medieval literature expert Rémy Cor-donnier was searching for books to use in a planned exhibition of “Anglo-Saxon” authors when he stumbled across the 1623 tome in September..
The First Folio, entitled Mr William Shakespeare (sic) Co-medies, Histories, & Tragedies, was edited and published in 1623.It included almost all of the plays widely accepted to have been written by Shakespeare .
The book will not go on general display, but will be scanned so it can be consulted on the library website and will be available for other libraries and museums to borrow .
Breathing rugby
Arturo Orzabal was one of the most important world props in the late seventies and member of the San Isidro Club which had one of the packs of forward players that
changed the history of rugby in the world.
After almost forty years in Patagonia, passing through Ci-polletti, Independente and the Polo Club, besides foun-ding The Boars in El Bolson and Conejos in Plottier, among many other activities with the oval ball. He has now
been summoned by Diego Manson and his team .
The truth is that everybody respects him from rivals who pay homage or show him affection wherever they find him to his own players. All agree to highlight the strengths and especially the gift of generosity and kindness he posses-
essential values for this game of give and take.
Let’s catch the fish!
During the winter months in the northern hemisphere, why
not roll back the clock, grab your fly rod, and head to the
magical world of Patagonia, Argentina.
Patagonia is a remote wilderness of isolated mountain
valleys, ragged icy peaks and turbulent rivers. This is a land
that demands exploration, and you will experience firsthand
its dramatic landscape. It has mountains that have never
been climbed and valleys populated by pobladores
(subsistence ranchers). Here you will experience the
world’s most incredible trout fishing in perhaps the most
hospitable nation on earth: Argentina.
In the province of Neuquen, nestled on the banks of the
world famous Chimehuin River, and situated between the
sleepy fishing village of Junín de los Andes and the vibrant
alpine village of San Martin de los Andes you will find the
most beautiful spots where to practice your favourite sport.
Most of the rivers have very predictable hatches and will
produce a good number of trout actively surface feeding,
providing a lot of targets for those who love to sight fishing.
Among our favorite rivers you will also find the Malleo,
Quillen, Quilquihue, Collon Cura, Alumine, Filo Hua Hum,
Caleufu, Pulmari, Meliquina and more...
