Message from the Director
Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak
Director
Pembroke College Choir, Cambridge, United Kingdom, led by Director
of Music Anna Lapwood, for their first charity concert in Thailand
at our auditorium with superp performance..
Dear Friends and Benefactors,
One of today’s serious environmental issues includes wastes
from
non-biodegradable plastic products. Human beings, other creatures,
and
nature in all the global communities have been facing these
quickly
worsening and hard-to-remedy challenges.
At the Orphanage, we encourage children from very young age
to
develop self-discipline, and constantly and correctly keep their
rooms
and compound clean and tidy. It is a repetitive effort to help them
realize
the impact of their actions, with the hope that they would grow
into quality
citizens, and to be part of the long-term solutions to the
problems.
Learning Football Skills: Children of Pattaya Orphanage are
learning football skills, making good use of their
vacation through the weekly training with professional football
coaches in our own field. Special thanks to Coach
Adisak Chuaphudee, a former national youth team player who is
currently the deputy director of Pattaya Discovery
United Football Club, for bringing his team to support our
promotion of discipline in our kids..
Sofia School in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Cartoon Network Amazone
Waterpark Pattaya, and our volunteers, for making the mid-year
school vacation of children at the Pattaya Orphanage a very
memorable one..
Dr. Reginald Teo and his wife Anne Pui Yee Kwok from Singapore, for
giving another treat of ice-skating and ice cream weekend at the
Harbor Pattaya to children at the Pattaya Orphanage, bringing them
great joy..
President Peter Malhotra of the Pattaya Sports Club Association and
his team, for paying a formal visit to Sotpattana School for the
Deaf following PSC’s grant making towards the upgrade of facilities
for students..
A group of Korean guests, during their Korea-Thai Disabled Culture
Expo trip, facilitated by Thairo Travel Co., Ltd., for visiting the
Pattaya Orphanage and our Deaf School and supporting our children
with in-kind donation..
Chairman Taketo Hironaka of Chonburi Rayong Japa- nese Association,
along with his team, for saying hello to our little ones and
providing a thoughtful contribution towards our school-age kids’
education fund..
Dr. Maurice Dimmock, Chair of ASIC Group of Com- panies and Rose
