What: 2018 Northeast/Northwest District Junior Rally
Who: 4-H’ers in Grades 6-8 from the NE & NW Districts
When: Saturday - Sunday, April 29 - 30, 2018
Where: Camp Wahsega, 4-H Center (North of Dahlonega)
Cost: $75 - Includes Camp Lodging, Food, Activities,
Transportation & Insurance
Registration Deadline: Friday, April 13, 2018 at 5pm
(Drop Fee after 4/20/18 is $25)
Activities: Amazing Race – Wahsega Style, your choice of
ropes course obstacles, talent show, dancing, campfire,
s’mores, other classes, community service projects, time in the
falls (weather permitting), the annual glow-in-the-dark night
Easter Egg Hunt, plus hanging out with all your 4-H friends!

Georgia Saves is a social media campaign to promote money-saving habits among Georgians of all ages. Visit GeorgiaSaves.org and Take the Pledge to save for a specific goal.
You’ll receive money saving tips to help you reach your goal and be part of the national America Saves campaign. Maybe you will even will a $100 gift card!!!
Rules
The finished piggy bank should be no larger than 12”x12”x12” (one square foot).
Banks must be created and decorated by the contestant with little or no adult assistance.
No team submissions; only one entry per person.
Your piggy bank MUST have a way to put money in and get it out without destroying the bank.
You may use any medium you like, including (but not limited to) cake, Legos, wood, paper, cardboard, recycled containers, etc.
You may decorate the space around your bank as well, but must stay within the one square foot size limitation.
Must be a Georgia resident to participate
How to Enter
1. Join the Georgia Saves campaign (www.GeorgiaSaves.org)
2. Make a video (60 seconds or less). Tell us a about your bank , how it will help you to reach your savings goals, and the materials used to make it. Be sure to show how money
goes in and comes out of your bank.
3. Email your video, grade level, and contact information to [email protected] by March 15, 2018. Your video will be posted to Instagram with the following hash tags:
#GeorgiaSavesBankContest and #MS .
4. Winners will be determined by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:

We are looking for adults to help with STEM programming and to chaperone trips. Parents must be a screened
volunteer through our UGA Extension, so in order to be considered, please complete the following steps:
1. Sign a Consent for Background Check form 2. Fill out a Screening Application and volunteer questionnaire
