The colour yellow is very eye catching and stands out, we usually associate this colour as happy, and teen dramedies are happy, fun and full of drama The blue gradient background goes from deep blue to a lighter blue contrasting with the yellow title. Both colours really stand out. The actors and actresses name are on the top of the poster, as this is the selling point so people watch the film The title of the film is in the top thirds, which meets our eye-line. The image takes up half of the poster, and is placed at the bottom/middle. From this layout w can tell that the image takes up importance The production company logo and information is placed just above the image, but its position doesn’t attract much attention because it is in between the image and the title. All typography is in capital letters These words are in a larger font than the other words, showing what words should be focused The ‘o’s are circles, to me it suggests that life goes on and you just have to deal with the ups and downs des of gesture: She is touching his hand, suggesting a romantic relationship between them He is in the background, perhaps theirs a love triangle, or just friends They are looking directly into the camera and have smiles on their face, which implies to the audience that it’s a happy film
