Appreciates the wider field of information systems, and how own role relates to other roles and to the Service.

Experience of analysing and interpreting information to develop solutions or solve problems.

Knowledge of the broader activities of Essex Fire & Rescue Service and working with Trade Unions.

Skills & AbilitiesAbility to identify and resolve underlying problems and ensure the necessary changes are implemented successfully.

Capable of keeping up to date with industry technologies to evaluate and recommend products for future implementation.

Able to monitor and evaluate procedures/processes to recommend improvements and implement them where necessary.

Able to absorb new information and apply it effectively. ECapable of keeping up to date with relevant knowledge to ensure validity of work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can interpret policy and procedures.
