The Potty Training Readiness Signs
Did you know that there are almost a dozen signs that show you if your child is ready to start potty training?
Being involved in all areas of your child’s learning activities helps you to easily spot the readiness signs
Here is what you should look for:
#1 Your child seems interested in the potty chair or toilet.
#2 Your child can sit on and rise from a potty chair all on his own.
#3 Your child starts to imitate your or his older siblings around the house.

#4 Your child can put things back in their place easily.
#5 Your child must be able to go to bed without the bottle.
#6 Your child is able to stay dry for at least 2 hours.
#7 Your child is able to communicate his wants clearly.
#8 Your child is uncomfortable with wet or soiled diapers.
If you notice at least 4 or 5 readiness signs it’s most likely that your child is ready for you to start potty training him.
