INTRODUCTION
India’s most renowned event on Cold Chain, India Cold Chain Show 2018 successfully
concluded its 7th edition on a high note. The show took place from 13-14-15
December, 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The show
went ahead of the industry curve and attracted over 5,759 high prole trade visitors
and over 159 premium exhibitors from the cold chain industry. The show welcomed
these visitors and exhibitors from 12 and 10 countries respectively. India Cold Chain
Show 2018, demonstrated a stirring range of both national and international
companies from various sectors of the industry such as horticulture, material-
handling, humidier & dehumidiers, freezing and chilling systems, air curtains, cold
storage doors, compressors, packaging and others. The new companies include Zirkel
Infraca India Pvt. Ltd., Wanxiang Refrigeration (Shanghai), Walkes Refrigeration, The
Transport Hub, Superfreeze, Emerson Climate Technologies, Honeywell Technologies,
Icon Freshtop, Kelley material handling, HTA Instrumentation and much more.

Think-tanks galore at the India Cold Chain Conference 2018
India Cold Chain Show 2018 living up to its promise of having more for its participants at India
Cold Chain Conference 2018 on 13th Dec - Food Cold Chain Conference and 14th of Dec –
Pharma Cold Chain Conference at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E), Mumbai. The
conference revolved around the theme- “Designing visibility across end-to-end Pharma Cold
Chain” & tackling food loss and driving ports through efcient cold chain. The conference
served as networking platform to meet the leaders from the Industry and understand the
latest trends, opportunities and challenges via panel discussions, case studies and keynote
presentations. It was inaugurated by David Rogers - Chairman (Asia Pacic Logistics
Federation), Ashish Guru - Vice President, (Gujarat Cold Storage Association), Hansmukh Jain
Gandhi – President, (Madhya Pradesh Cold Storage Association), Anuj Mathur – COO (Reed
Exhibitions India Pvt. Ltd.). Leading speakers from Amul Dairy, Barcelos, Bigbasket, Mother
Dairy Fruits and Vegetables Pvt Ltd., ITC Food, Licious, Pesca Fresh, Sumeru, Zappfresh, Pesca

NEW AT THE SHOW: WORKSHOP
ICCS hosted worthy workshop on 14th Dec, 2018. The workshop revolved around topic such as ‘Government
Incentives for Investment Opportunities in Cold Chain projects in India’. The workshop on topic of discussion
includes highlights on schemes from Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), DIPP (Department of Industrial
Policy and Promotion) largely & also on other relevant state/ central government schemes for cold chain. The workshop
was moderated by Prasad P- AVP, Amit Dutta- Vice President, Gaurav Kumar- Vice President, Gopinath Koneti-
