Letter from Camp Directors

Open House Sunday, April 27, 2014, Camp Kateri 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.Join us at Camp Kateri for the afternoon and take a tour of camp, make a craft, and meet the camp directors and summer camp staff! You’ll also meet other campers, learn some packing tips, and find out how to prepare for the camp experience. There is no fee for Open House, but RSVPs are requested. Please call 877.764.5237 to RSVP.

Camp Kateri is for All GirlsWe believe in all girls – not just Girl Scouts – at Camp Kateri. You will feel right at home with your new sisters, even if you’ve never participated in the Cookie Program or earned a badge. For girls not registered as members of Girl Scouts, there is an additional charge of $15 to cover Girl Scout registration.

The Power of FriendshipCamp memories last a lifetime, especially when they are made with friends. The power of friendships made while cooking over a fire, canoeing on the lake, or overcoming a challenge, create a bond that lasts long after good-byes are said.

At Camp Kateri girls spend their days conquering challenging new activities, gaining confidence in themselves and connecting with the environment. Memories of hitting a bull’s eye on the archery range, building a survival shelter with new friends, and sailing around McCarthy Lake will last a lifetime.

Campers come to Kateri where they create memories of a time and place where they are able to enjoy tradition, make new friends, explore nature, and learn new skills. Campers come in with hopes and fears; they leave with confidence and friendship.

Camp Kateri is ACA Accredited We are proud to recognize Camp Kateri as an accredited camp! This lets you know that our camp adheres to American Camp Association (ACA) standards. Experts in the field of camping review Camp Kateri’s operations, including health and wellness; food service; trips; site and buildings; equestrian, aquatic, and general programs. The accreditation standards are reviewed every three years. We are reaccredited as of 2012!
