Greetings! Spring sprang, summer simmered, and on September 22nd Fall

officially fell. Soon large quantities of refreshing cool weather will

waft down upon us, we will give thanks for a plethora of blessings,

and then it will be ever onward to winter and Christmas! The seasons

of life, like seasons of the year bring much goodness our way. Be

sure to take a moment this Harvest hour and reflect on the bounty

God has placed in your life. Perhaps you will even "fall" to your knees

in gratitude for all that God has accomplished on your behalf. 

Pastor Appreciation 

Remember that October is Pastor Appreciation Month, in which we

endeavor to remember in some special way those special people who

labor for us and on behalf of the Kingdom in that capacity. Be sure toto let Pastor and Sister Langley know just how much their ministry

means to you. A sincerely spoken kind word can mean more than you

know...

"  Appreciation is a free gift that you can give to anyone you encounter 

 ± it is completely your choice. Each time you choose to thank 

someone for a job well done you are making the world a better place.´

Spaghetti Dinner a SuccessThe Women of Praise raised a tremendous $690 recently at the spaghetti

dinner. They used their noodles and really brought in the bread . We

would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.

We would especially like to thank Brother Ben Kish, who though he is not 

a woman, dedicated his time to make the sauce and add a homemade

flare to this special dinner.

Fall FestivalWhile the world celebrates Halloween, Praise Temple plans to use a night 

to hallow Him, holding a Fall Festival dedicated to the God we serve.

There will be a planning meeting held after the Bible study on

Wednesday, October 6th. Then, Friday, October 29th is the event itself,

where there will be carnival games, face painting, bounce houses, a car

bash, concessions, cake walks, and, of course, CANDY! Bring your family

and have a grand old time enjoying one another and the Lord of the

Harvest.

Empowered Men/Women of PraiseDon't forget that the first Thursday evening of every month our men andladies separately meet with one another for a night of ministry and

fellowship. On October 7th @ 7pm the men will be blessed by the

teaching of Brother Johnny King and the Ladies will enjoy hearing from 

his wife, Nadeene King. There will be special singing by Pastor Joy

Lester.

On Saturday, October 16th, the Empowered Mens group will be having a

Prayer Breakfast. The men will be gathering in the auditorium for a time

of prayer at 7:30 AM followed by breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Clermont.

now! Abraham's servant was not 

  satisfied simply because his

mission was a success. He

 prayed that God would send him

 good speed -success- " this day" .

That is exactly what God did!

October Events At a Glance«

K indgom RAZErs YouthThe Kingdom RAZErs will soon be making a lot morenoise with their own youth band! This young talent 

will lead in worship during Wednesday night youth

meetings, and who knows where else they might turn

up?

This Sunday, October 3rd, is Youth Empahsis Sunday,

in which the young people will be leading praise and

worship, ushering, and putting on a special drama

presentation for the people of the church.

Thursday, October 21st , at 7:00 PM they will behaving some friendly competition in a Photo

Scavenger Hunt! All youth make sure to pick up a

permission slip as we will be driving around town

during this fun-filled evening of fellowship.

 As an incentive to increase their numbers and bring

more teens to the Kingdom RAZErs events, we will be

holding an overnight lock-in, to be scheduled once

the Wednesday night attendance reaches its goal on

a consistent basis. Invite your friends, guys! 

PTCA Awards ChapelOur church is so blessed to be able to speak into the

lives of young people from this community on a daily

basis. Should the Lord tarry, these learners will

become tomorrow's teachers and church leaders. On

October 27th @ 1pm we will be holding the first 

quarter Awards Chapel in the auditorium. It would be

very nice to see you there in support of these young

lives to whom we minister.

Worship NightThere will be a special evening of worship, where

we will gather specifically and exclusively to

honor our God, on Friday, October 15 @ 7pm.

Remember that true worshipers are not tied to

the religious system of where (or even when) but 

offer up full hearts to God wherever and

whenever they may be. In other words, we don't 

have to wait till Sunday morning to let out a

praise! So don't let the Friday night thing throwyou off. Take a little time to let your God know

 just how you feel about Him! ³Reaching the Lost;
