A little mouse is cleaning her house.

She finds a coin unexpectedly.

Page 3: The pretentious mouse.

Then, she wonders on what she could buy with this newly found money.

•Will I buy a needle?•No, because I could prick my finger.•Will I buy a bunch of sweets?•No, because my teeth will become rotten.•Will I buy a television?•No, because I could waste my free time.

Then she went to the closest shop and asked:•What can I buy to be very pretty?

And the friendly man answered:- You should buy this wonderful ribbon!

She finally bought a ribbon to putin her tail to look more attractive.

Rosaries of animal suitors come to askthe little mouse to marry them,attracted by her beauty.

To see if each suitor is compatible with her, she asks themwhat they will do at night.•Ooh, beautiful mouse, will you marry me?

- I don’t know Mr. Dog, what do you do at night?- I bark.- Then, we won’t get married! You could frighten me!

- Ooh, beautiful mouse, will you marry me?

- I don’t know Mr. Bird, what doyou do at night?- I sing.- Then, we won’t get married!You could frighten me!

- Ooh, beautiful mouse, will you marry me?

- I don’t know Mr. Donkey, what do you do at night?- I bray.- Then, we won’t get married! You would frighten me!

- Ooh, beautiful mouse, will you marry me?

- I don’t know Mr. Pig, what do you do at night?- I oink.- Then, we won’t get married! You would frighten me!

And she discarded every one of them saying that they wouldfrighten her.Finally a mouse comes and says:- Ooh, beautiful mouse, will you marry me?

- I don’t know Mr. Mouse, whatdo you do at night?- I sleep and I am silent.- Then we will marry soon!

And they got married
