I heard the bells on Christmas DayTheir old, familiar carols play,

And wild and sweetThe words repeat

Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And in despair I bowed my head;“There is no peace on earth,” I said;

“For hate is strongAnd mocks the song

Of peace on earth, good-will to men!”

•God is the “God of Peace”• “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under

your feet …” (Romans 16:20)• “… the God of peace will be with you.”

(Philippians 4:9)• “Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you

completely ...” (1 Thessalonians 5:23)• “Now may the God of peace who brought again

from the dead our Lord Jesus …” (Hebrews 13:20)

CONCLUSION:If we want to have peace, then God must

rule our heart.
