THE PRINCE’S TRUST
CANDIDATE PACK
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS
Welcome
As the UK’s leading youth charity, we work tirelessly towards our vision to ensure that every disadvantaged young person has the chance to succeed. This year, we are on track to help 59,000 young people. Click here to see how thousands learn the hard way.
Every single year thousands of young people have to deal with the effects of poverty, abuse
or neglect. We help vulnerable young people, aged 11-30, in the UK to change their lives
and get into employment, education or training. Our programmes provide the support
needed to stabilise their lives helping them to develop self-esteem and skills for work, to re-
engage with or complete their education, or to set up their own businesses. We hugely
value over 6,000 volunteers who work alongside our staff to mentor and encourage our
young people. We are proud that three in every four young people we work with get into
education, training or employment.
Our Fundraising activities stretch the length and breadth of the country, supporting our 19
delivery centres to reach out to the most hard to reach young people. We have a
comprehensive mix of fundraising income streams, from events, sponsorship, major gifts,
brand partnerships, public sector and individual giving and we are always looking to
innovate in these areas. Our philosophy of ‘fundraising without borders’, is driving a
collaborative way of working. We continue to invest in our operations and people to ensure
we achieve this ambition.
As part of the Corporate Partnerships team, your work will contribute to helping the young
people we support get their lives back on track. You will get the opportunity to spend time
with our Young Ambassadors and hear first-hand their brave and empowering stories and
their journey with The Prince’s Trust. You’ll be joining a passionate team. We are bold and
ambitious in how we approach corporate fundraising. For us, businesses also provide many
of the solutions to our social mission.
We’re looking for someone with passion, dedication and commitment to supporting the UK’s
most vulnerable young people who can hit the ground running and have an impact on our
work. Working for The Prince’s Trust gives you an opportunity like no other. The breadth of
our work provides variety and creativity, enabling us to create diverse long-term
partnerships. You’ll work alongside the sector’s top professional fundraisers and thrive in a
truly dynamic environment.
Thank you for applying to join the team.
