The treatise of Dr. Israr Ahmad Ejad o Ibda-e-Alamsay Alami Nizam-e-Khilafat tak: Tanazzul aur Irtiqakay Marahil s English translation The Process ofCreation: A Qur`anic Perspective was very muchappreciated by a number of scholars and intellectualswho took the trouble to read it closely and thoughtfully.Among others, Dr. Munawar A. Anees, aninternationally acclaimed critic and writer, referred tothis tract as a major contribution in Cosmology. In hisIqbal Memorial Lecture given on July 05, 2012 under

the auspices of Department of Philosophy, Universityof the Punjab, he presented the following lines to theaudience in his published essay:

one of the eminent students of Iqbal, Dr.Israr Ahmad made remarkable interpretations ofhis philosophy with a unique blend of Quranicteachings and modern knowledge. His shorttreatise on the origins and evolution makeshim a man way ahead of his times. Perhapshis work could serve as a precursor for anIslamic cosmology in congruence with theemerging thought as exemplified by biocentrismand biosemiotics.
