Plastic materials
The product range of semi-finished products is made complete with hard plastic materials and fluoride thermoplastic materials used for the support rings or guiding rings, and also for special and pre-stressed seals. We maintain perfect commercial relations with our suppliers, a wide product range in combination with efficient management of the warehouse administration, which guarantees fast availability. The dimension range of the semi-finished products is suitably adapted to the machining requirements. We also offer a wide selection of various material mixtures covering all requirements for using seals. The table above provides a review of the most common pressurized liquids and sealing
materials, and their use. Do not forget that the applicability of various materials in hydraulic liquids can affect some operating conditions, e.g. temperature. If you need other, more detailed information, contact us or use the table listing resistance to individual agents. In case of any doubts, it is possible to perform operational testing, which is provided upon the request of our clients.

25Semi-Finished Product
Semi-products
We deliver high quality semi-finished products in the form of bars or pipes for the production of sealing elements. Due to the latest technologies and close cooperation with the manufacturer, we can cover the full range of a seal’s applications. Each individual semi-finished product is carefully checked prior to dispatch. It means that the most important part of our services provided for the customer, is our contribution to their competitiveness, because we
provide high quality for adequate prices. In addition to the wide range of standard dimensions we have in store, we offer special dimensions with short delivery periods, in all materials and FDA quality.

Polyurethane materialsPolyurethane materials have acquired significant recognition among modern sealing technologies. They represent a dominate share on the market of piston rod and piston seals. Our delivered semi-finished polyurethane products are exceptional for their highest quality. In many applications, our produced polyurethane seals exceed the competitor’s, regarding their parameters. The reason is a very careful material selection by the manufacturer and its production technologies. Unlike the products processed from thermoplastic materials, our delivered polyurethane semi-finished products include maximum freedom as regards the formation of perfect physical properties during polymerization. Any unsuitable effects during the polymerization process, by the heating
and deforming of plastic materials, is eliminated due to the materials applied. In addition to standard materials, materials are also produced with the optimized friction coefficient and materials designed for direct contact with food. Another important fact is that we deliver semi-finished polyurethane products up to the hardness of 94 Shore A with a clamping ring. It simplifies clamping into the lathe, being independent of the production material applied.
ElastomersElastomers are frequently indicated as rubber materials, which form an important part of the material range. Elestomere products were superseded in many standard applications by modern polyurethane, however they still remain an important element of sealing technology. They have their importance due to the wide spectrum of their heat and chemical resistance. Our supplier operates solely with rubber mixtures from recognized manufacturers. In combination with modern processing technology, they provide the guarantee of quality and dimensions of economical semi-finished products. The
resulting value for our customers includes the perfect ratio of price and quality, and fast availability in standard and special dimensions and materials. All elastomer semi-finished products are delivered with hard surface (package) so it enables simple machining on CNC, despite low core hardness and high flexibility.

The specified minimum operating temperatures are for information purposes, because the seals function at low temperatures depends on the seal’s type, on general operating conditions, and on the type of surrounding metal parts the seal is in contact with. The specified upper operating temperature limits can be exceeded, but the operating service life is reduced.
In case of any doubts contact our technicians.

The above specified graph provides a rough review of application temperatures of the most important sealing materials. If the material is in contact with chemically aggressive liquids, the temperature limits must drop significantly.
