Motorsports Management

Motorsports offers a large but also complex range of activities with a large number of different disciplines, classifications and event locations.Comprehensive knowledge of the structures, the relevant proces-ses and procedures in this popular sport are the requirements for being successful in motorsports. This applies to the relations between the teams, the manufacturers and drivers on the one hand as well as the series promoters and umbrella and world organizations on the other hand. The sporting success is always a result of the sum of the individual goals of all team members. On this account personnel selection and personnel management are key competencies that are required for the interaction between different fields. The MBA – Distance Learning Program Motorsports Management meets these requirements precisely.

In addition to profound knowledge of business administration and detailed knowledge about the motor sports sector, the program will provide key skills in the areas of marketing and personnel ma-nagement.Furthemore sponsoring, marketing drivers, contract law and team leadership are part of the study contents. The interdisciplinary qua-lification opens up a wide range of work fields in national and inter-national motorsports.
