Gardner's personal struggle of establishing himself as a stockbroker while managing fatherhood and homelessness is portrayed in the 2006 motion picture The Pursuit of Happyness.

In 1981, in San-Fransisco , Chris Gardner (Will Smith) invests his family’s savings in portable Bone-density scanners which he tries to demonstrate and sell to doctor.

The investment of the scanner ,financially breaks the family & as a result, his wife leaves him.

Chris further sets back when his bank accounts, taxes are unpaid.

So his son and Chris are now homeless ,staying at a church.

Gardner’s two goals are to be a good father to his son and to work at Wall Street.

After struggling the hardships now he is in his business suit and has a muti-million task.
