The world of RAL standards for plastics has just become more colourful: RAL P2 PLAsTics is introducing new design options for precise colour communication in the plastics sector. 200 additional RAL DEsiGN colours – including cool teals, juicy leaf greens, earthy ochres, brilliant berry hues and delicate lilacs – have added a range of new colour statement options to the plastics palette. RAL P1 and RAL P2

RAL P1 and RAL P2 in multifunctional design RAL P1 and RAL P2 are synonymous with precise colour communication. The design of the DiN A6sized RAL P1 and RAL P2 plastics colour chips has been carefully selected. it has been precisely coordinated to the requirements of plastics manufacturers and plastics processors. Three different surface textures – high gloss polished, VDi 24 and VDi 42 – show users the colour dependent on surface roughness. Three levels of thickness make it easy to look at each colour when 100 percent opaque or at lower levels of opacity. As a specific feature RAL P2 also provides trans parent colours.

Polypropylene assures diversified applicability Polypropylene was intentionally chosen for RAL PLAsTics. it is a bulk plastic used in many manufactured products because of its balanced property profile and excellent value for money. its applicability in a wide variety of manufacturing processes and compatibility with numerous dyes also speak in favour of this plastic.
