CEMINTEL DESIGNER SERIES™ CLADDING

OVERVIEW

The CSR Gyprock Red Book™ contains a wide range of fire and/or acoustic rated wall systems. This addendum provides information on a new series of external wall systems incorporating Cemintel Designer Series™ external cladding.

The Cemintel Designer Series™ walling system combines a modern contemporary appearance with the time and effort saving of a pre-finished panel, and a fast, easy to use installation system to deliver outstanding exterior cladding solutions for lightweight timber and steel stud framed applications.

APPLICATIONS

The Cemintel Designer Series™ system may be used on timber and steel framed buildings of up to two storeys that meet the geometric limits of AS4055 : Wind loads for housing. The system is suitable as an external cladding on Class 1 and Class 10 buildings only.

Cemintel Designer Series™ is ideal for structures with either slab-on-ground or elevated framing/concrete floor construction, including duplex and townhouse construction, extensions, upper storey additions and other applications where residential construction techniques are appropriate.

ADVANTAGES

• Cemintel Designer Series™ cladding offers extensive texture/colour choices to enhance design concepts to deliver an attractive, contemporary and unique external appearance.

• A choice of Gyprock™ and Cemintel™ internal linings to suit fire, acoustic, impact and wet area applications.

• Internal linings installed, jointed and finished using industry standard methods.

• Designer Series™ pre-finished panels are cement bonded wood-particle products. They are protected with NichiGuard coating, which has an anti-staining, self-cleaning function for an extended low-maintenance life.

• Systems compatible with cost effective, industry standard lightweight timber and steel stud wall construction.

• The Designer Series™ cladding system uses simple components and construction techniques to ensure fast and easy installation on timber or steel stud framing.

Cemintel Designer Series™ Overview & Features• Cemintel Designer Series™

p a n e l s a r e i n s t a l l e d horizontally or vertically, and have complementary tongue and groove profiles along the long edges with an in-built flexible sealing strip.

• Panel Clips fit over the panel tongue edge, and accept and retain the groove edge of the adjoining panel providing invisible fixing. The integrated compressible strip provides a weathertight sealed joint.

• The Pre-formed Ex terna l Corners are easy to install, and provide an attractive matching f inish and expressed joint appearance.

• Pre-f inished Panels mean virtually no finishing work is required. Simply fill expressed joints with colour matched sealant and finish off with the matching touch-up kits.
