The central referee His role is to manage the game. He is assisted by his two assistants and sometimes by the fourth referee.

He is primarily concerned with protecting players.

The Assistant Referee His role is to assist the central referee.

He raises his flag or talks to the central referee with a microphone .

He must be concentrated on the match.

The Fourth Referee

His role is to calm the people on the benches.

He manages the changes of players within the teams.
