Althought the sand lizard is the most common reptile in Poland, it’s numbers decreased due to industrialization and the disappearance of natural habitats. A species of lizard of the family of lizards appropriate. Occuring in the Świętokrzyski National Park.

Traszka grzebieniastaTriturus cristatus

Type amphibian caudate occurring in Poland, in Białowieski National Park.This may result in water and land lifestyle. Inhabits a variety of habitats, especially reservoirs of clean water, as well as nearby forests. The main threats include habitat loss associated with the transformation of the environment.

Padalec zwyczajnyAnguis fragilis

Species of legless lizard, occuring in Poland in Wigierski National Park. Reminds a snake due retrogression limbs. Reptiles hunts mainly on snails and earthworms, not too fast. Head and tail are very poorly extracted from the trunk. Pregnancy lasts 11-13 weeks, then to the world comes from 6 to 26 young.

Eslizón oceladoChalcides ocellatus

The chalcides ocellatus of Spain, belonging to the National Park Picos de Europa, has a medium size and five-toed limbs, which moves rapidly in stony areas, being uncommon in arenales. In Spain have been found copies in the city of Melilla, where it abounds in rustic areas.

Eslizón tridáctiloChalcides striatus

The Eslizón tridáctilo from Spain, moves with great agility and quickly between the vegetation when it reaches its optimum temperature, taking refuge at the smallest alarm signal in the most leafy areas. DyscophusNullam ranae

Tomato frogs live up to their name by possessing a vibrant, orange-red colour. Females are much larger than males and have brighter tones of red or orange on their back, with a pale undersurface. Some individuals also have black spots on the throat. It is thought that the brilliant colours of the tomato frog act as a warning to potential predators that these frogs are toxic.

La rana pardaPelophylax perezi

It’s natural habitats are fast-moving mountain streams and their surroundings. This frog is the smallest species of brown frog in Europe, with adults reaching a snout length of about 5 cm, females being slightly larger than males.Their food is insects, but also earthworms, spiders and small crustaceans.

Lagarto gigante de El Hierro Gallotia simonyi

He lives in the Canary Islands. Its members reach a body length of 45 cm. Their diet consists mainly of insects and small vertebrates. These lizards are oviparous, consisting of up to 20 eggs. Protected.

Representative legless lizards. The Czech Republic is highly threatened and declining stocks lately. Usually grows 30 cm long, up to 45 cm. It has a small, relatively high head, which is blunt ended. Ropucha obecná Bufo bufo

Amphibian of the family Toads. Its principal enemy is the person, whether they are undisciplined motorists and nature pollution from dangerous substances. Upper side of the body is the papillae and has different colors - gray, brown ... The eyes are placed poison glands, which in case of threats to exclude sharp irritating secretions. Occurring in the national park Podyjí.

Ještěrka zelená Lacerta viridis

The lizard reaches up to 15 cm. They eat insect, beetles, crickets and small birds.The tail can be up to twice the length of the body, total length is up to 40 cm. Occurring in the national park Podyjí.

Užovka stromováaesculapian snake

The biggest reptile. Užovka stromová is a species of nonvenomous snake native to Europe. Growing up to 2 metres in total length, it counts among the largest European snakes. The Aesculapian snake has been of cultural and historical significance for its role in ancient Greek and Roman mythology and derived symbolism.

Mlok horský ichthyosaura alpestris

Mlok horský is in the class of amphibians. It’s newt of the salamander. They were originally confined to Central Europe and mountainous Southern Europe. The alpine newt was formerly placed within the genus Triturus. Is for me the most beatiful slovakamphibian
