A lecture by Dr. Ravindra Panth THE REVIVAL OF PILGRIMAGE IN INDIA Sayagyi U Ba Khin 1899 – 1971 Join us for a talk with Dr. Ravindra Panth, as he recounts the initiatives underway for the revival of the ancient Buddha pilgrimage sites in Northern India, which are supported by the historical efforts of the famous monk scholar and 7th century pilgrim Xuanzang who traveled from China to India and back again on foot over a period of 17 years. Dr. Panth was the Director & Vice Chancellor of Nalanda University from 2000 to 2016. Prior to Nalanda, he served as the Director of the Vipassana Research Institute for 14 years under the guidance of S.N. Goenka. THE REVIVAL OF PILGRIMAGE IN INDIA

Join us for a talk with Dr. Ravindra Panth, as he recounts the

initiatives underway for the revival of the ancient Buddha
