• Britain’s longest river begins its journey in the Cambrian mountains, in a deep bog.

• There is a wooden post saying Source.

• The source is the start of River.

Tributaries

• There are a lot of tributaries in the River Severn.

• The tributaries are more than a little trickle.

• A Tributary is a little stream that’s comes from the main river.

• The tributaries of the River Severn include Rea brook, Cound brook, River Chelt, Bristol Avon and many more.

Meanders

• The meanders tend to appear near the lower and middle course’s where the water moves more slowly.

• There are many meanders in the River Severn

• A meander is a bend in the river.

The Mouth

• The River Severn ends its journey.

• The mouth of the River Severn flows into the Bristol Channel.

• The mouth is the end of the river.

The Severn Bore• The Severn Bore can

reach heights of 10ft in midstream and up to 820ft wide.

• The Severn Bore is really fast and can move at 13mph.

• The Severn Bore is a wave what sweeps upstream when tides are high
