I chose Rocky Mountain College because my brother was a student there and spoke very highly of the college. I am currently enrolled in a leadership degree that focuses on equipping students for the future. I have appreciated my education and practicum through Rocky because I now have the necessary tools and training to continue to develop in ministry. I am finishing my one year practicum at Faith Community Baptist Church in Claresholm, AB. This fall, I look forward to working full time as Associate Pastor (Young Families). Without question, my skills and abilities as a pastor will develop as I serve in ministry with humility and confidence. Celebrating Students in Leadership

After high school graduation, I felt called to be a youth pastor and bible college was the obvious next step.

More importantly, Rocky has played a prominent role in equipping me to continue to grow as a man of God.

My experience at Rocky Mountain College is one that I will not forget. I chose to study at Rocky because I wanted the option of including my faith in my work. I also desired to be a part of a program that aimed to help others and to learn more about God and Christianity.

RMC helped me grow in both my personal and professional life. I was pushed, encouraged and challenged by professors who truly care and want to see me succeed. I was encouraged to take initiative to be open to opportunities that would strengthen my career path and provide me with contacts within the community. Currently, I volunteer for Victim Services and I am seeking employment.

This challenge to push out of my comfort zone is one that I will always be thankful for, as “if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.”
