ABSTRAK
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi cinta romantis antara Hazel Lancaster dan Augustus Waters dalam novel The Fault in Our Stars. Tipe penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan dua jenis data yaitu data utama, data utama dari penelitian ini adalah novel The Fault in Our Stars dan data kedua dari penelitian ini adalah teori termasuk refernsi dan data-data yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitia ini adalah hubungan antara Hazel Lancaster dan Augustus Waters dapat dikategorikan sebagai cinta romantic karena memenuhi unsur cinta romantis dan hubungan mereka tidak dapat dikategorikan sebagai cinta sempurna karena mereka belum dewasa. Anak-anak tidak dapat memiliki komitment.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to identify the romantic love between Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars novel. The type of this research is qualitative research. The researcher used two data type’s namely primary data, primary data from this research is The Fault in Our Stars novel and secondary data of this research is theory including references and materials relate to the study. The result of this study is the relationship between Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters can be categorized as romantic love because it fulfills the components of romantic love and their relationship cannot be categorized as consummate love because they are not adult. Children cannot commit.
