The romanticized farming estates of Normandy France combine rural warmth with unmistakable luxury. It is this mix which has captured the interest of American style makers, who have embraced and reimagined this classic decor. The organic nature of rural linens, folk art, floral and tapestries takes on new dimension and fresh

energy when updated with textural innovation and shimmering inks, blending an easy elegance with classic designs.

NORMANDY MANOR TEXTURE

Mimicking fabric, this wall paper has the texture of woven threads similar to homespun cloth. In addition, the presence of dappled color lends the look of distressing over time and there is a subtle hint of sheen. This versatile pattern can be used with Normandy Floral or Raised Acanthus.

RAISED ACANTHUS

Mystery and movement is captured in the generous ornate artwork of this singular design. Like brushstrokes, raised inks swirl against a spattering of gleaming color suggesting exotic flowers and foliage in the stunning style of the Art Nouveau period. Among the five palettes is pearlescent cream with pale grey and aquamarine or soft metallic gold with medium and pale grey. Normandy Manor Texture and Jacobean Stripe work very well with this wall paper.

SILVER DAMASK

A romantic classic, this distressed damask appears to have acquired a significant patina from the passage of time. The large raised medallions are framed and wreathed in silhouetted flowers and foliage against a softly gleaming backdrop. Five lovely palettes; among them is pale lilac with cream on a soft metallic gold. Combine with Textured Variegated Stripe and Fleur de Lis.

JACOBEAN

Elaborate flowers, fruits, and leaves born of fantasy adorn this glowing wall paper. The over-scale design makes a strong statement although the Jacobean design is portrayed in soft and pearlescent hues. The partner to this elegant design is Jacobean Stripe or combine with Normandy Manor Texture for contrasting texture.

JACOBEAN STRIPE

Wide stripes and narrow, the pearlescent ribbons of gentle color on this wall paper are so lovely, so soothing to the eye. Ranging from five inches to mere pinstripes, the vertical bands have a tonal overlay of graceful Jacobean flowers adding to the enchantment of the design. Choose pearlescent gold with cream and ecru, pearlescent cream with pale aqua and grey, or three more variations. Pair with Jacobean or Raised Acanthus for a stunning room.

FLEUR DE LIS

The pretty fleur de lis represents the lily of the valley. On this wallpaper a stylized version, three inches tall, resembles feather plumes, some with subtle metallic highlights shown on a hazy field. This timeless continental design comes in four color ways such as beige with ecru, metallic gold and white or pale aqua, cream, amber and tan. Use with Textured Variegated Stripe or Normandy Manor Texture.

NORMANDY FLORAL

An armful of roses, not a thorn among them, and this bountiful bouquet will never ever wilt. The romantic display, shown in raised inks on this wall paper, will bring gracious charm and color to cottage or traditional home throughout the seasons. There are five versions such as beige with peach, pink, blue/grey and grey/green. Partner with Normandy Manor Texture or Jacobean Stripe…or both!

SMALL FLORAL TRAIL

Recalling romantic dreams of endless summer, sprigs of roses and wildflowers trail across a solid background in colorful disarray. The open and airy design is a charming classic for the traditional home or the cozy cottage. There are six variations such as butter yellow with sky blue, blush pink, amber, and shades of green. Partner with Floral Neoclassic with Birds and Textured Variegated Stripe to complete the look.

SOFT RAISED LINEN TEXTURE

This lightly textured wall paper pretends to be linen cloth. You can see the vertical and horizontal lines that mimic woven fiber and, what’s more, the warm white and soft taupe coloration adds to the realism. This is an ideal complement to Framed Damask and Damask Stripe.

FLORAL NEOCLASSIC WITH BIRDS

A tribute to timeless beauty, this multicolored wall paper features classic Greco/Roman design elements: an urn filled with roses and draped with beads, exotic birds in flight, and coiling acanthus leaves. The motif is ideal for the traditional home and can be lovely in a cottage as well. Five color ways including a mix of pearlescent beige, ecru, tan, grey, white and amber. Use with Small Floral Trail and Textured Variegated Stripe in complementary hues.

TOWNSEND TEXTURE

This lightly textured wall paper does a great imitation of a textile. You can see the vertical and horizontal lines that mimic woven fiber and, what’s more, there are faux slubs like gleaming metallic threads. Four tweedish color combinations include metallic silver with gold and golden tan or cream with beige and light taupe. Incorporate with Framed Damask and Damask Stripe.

FRAMED DAMASK

Classic damask is interpreted in a trio of ways that make this wall paper something very special. The scale is grand in size; on most the background is metallic or pearlescent for a lovely shimmer, and the raised inks add dimension and texture. This pattern, with traditional roots, could be used to great advantage in a contemporary setting in any of the five palettes including metallic pewter with lilac. Partner with Damask Stripe and Normandy Manor Texture.

DAMASK STRIPE

This amazing vertical pattern breaks from convention with six inch wide stripes made of blossoms and serpentine leaves. The raised garlands stream on a backdrop of faux fabric texture, some with a slight metallic or pearlescent radiance. Color ways include metallic gold or pearlescent beige, both with cream. The made-to-match partner is Framed Damask in the same palettes; while other possibilities are Soft Raised Linen Texture or Townsend texture.
