Apology
• Strength of the message is in repetition
• You will probably not hear anything new
• But: repeating it will ground it, so you can tell it to your members
• Also: FV is basically very simple
• So: “Frappez toujours” as the French say
• And: Enjoy working for TRF!
Future Vision plan
What is the essence?(Strategic plan and general TRF FV presentation can be found on www.rotary.org)
Anchoring of the success of TRF by:– More focus– More responsibility to Rotaryclubs and District– More cooperation– More visibility and recognition
More focus, thereforethe six Areas of Focus
• Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
• Disease Prevention and Treatment
• Water and Sanitation
• Maternal and Child Health
• Basic Education and Literacy
• Economic and Community Development
More focus
• Larger projects
• Less dispersion of money and control
• Lots of attention to continuity and sustainability of the projects
More responsibility to Rotaryclubs and District
• District must be qualified by TRFBasically: “we will be responsible in spending TRF funds”.
• District qualifies the Rotaryclubs via MOU Memorandum of Understanding (same)
• DDF: DSG 20% to DG 50%
• Reporting and financials in District
More visibility• Result:
Every one wants to be part of a winning team!
•This leads to many additional benefits:- More and easier contributions- Attractiveness for new/younger members- etc.
FV in real life
• Paper based to Web based
• Matching Grant becomes Global GrantProject > US$ 30.000TRF match > US$15.000 (excl. DDF!)But: Areas of Focus and sustainability
• District Simplified Grant now: District Grantavailable 50% of DDF, was 20%One District application per year
