CMC Bulletin Board. BIGGEST TURKEY CONTEST ENDS TODAY and the winner will be announced next Sunday, November 27th. Who will be our biggest turkey….. Emma LaBella, Chris Vogler or Wayne Walker? THANKSGIVING EVE LOVEFEAST – Please join us on Wednesday, November 23, at 7 PM for this lovefeast. The youth will be leading the service. The offering collected that evening has been designated for Ray of Hope / Michael Tesh. MARVELOUS MORAVIANS TRIP –The Marvelous Moravians will be attending the Advent and Hopewell Band Concert at Salemtowne on Tuesday, December 13, at 7 PM. A sign-up sheet has been posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board if you are interested in going. CHRISTMAS CARD BOXES FOR SPECIAL FRIENDS – The boxes will be delivered during the December Christmas caroling. THE DEADLINE TO BRING CARDS IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18. Deadline to order luminaries is Sunday, December 11. COFFEE MUGS FOR SALE – The 120th Anniversary Coffee Mugs are available for purchase in the Resource Room at the church for $3.00 each. LOVEFEAST BUN ORDERS – If you would like to order lovefeast buns for either December 20 or Christmas Eve please let Sabrina Maksi know by December 4. CHRISTMAS & NOTE CARDS – Christmas cards featuring our star and church in the s now are still available for $10 per pack of 10 cards/envelopes. There are also blank notecards available with either the church in snow, the church in spring and the star in packs of 12 for $10. The cards are located in the Resource Center. All proceeds benefit the Youth. PECANS FOR SALE – The Women’s Fellowship has pecans for sale in the Resource Room. The cost is $9.50 per bag. If you are paying cash, please have the correct amount to put in the envelope or you may write a check to CMC Women’s Fellowship. CHURCH OFFICE NEWS – The Church Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Also, due to the short workweek, there will be no Weekly Update sent out.

ADVENT EVENT - SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27, AT NOON – Please join us for our annual Advent Event that will be held in the Fellowship Building after the worship service. The Christian Education Committee is providing the roast beef and asks that the congregation provide the side dishes and desserts. After lunch there will be a special project for all led by Becky Lanier while you visit with one another and the children can decorate the Christmas tree.

LOVEFEAST AT HERITAGE WOODS, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 AT 7:00 PM – Christ Church hosts this lovefeast annually for the residents of Heritage Woods with The Rev. Dr. David A. Marcus, Jr., leading the service.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, DURING WORSHIP – Join us as our children present their annual Christmas program.

CANDLE TRIM DINNER - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Building – Usher in the Advent season by trimming candles for the Christmas services. ���

PETERSBROOK RCC LOVEFEAST AT AUGSBURG LUTHERAN OVERFLOW SHELTER – TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13 AT 7:15 PM. – The Petersbrook RCC will serve a meal and then have a lovefeast for the homeless men at the shelter. The RCC will prepare gift bags for the men and items needed are boxers and wool socks. A collection box has been placed in the back hallway.

CHRISTMAS LOVEFEAST, SUNDAY DECEMBER 18, AT 11 AM – Join us for this Christmas Lovefeast during the worship service.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18, AFTER WORSHIP – For those who wish to go caroling, we will have lunch after worship in the Fellowship Building and then go caroling. Christmas Card boxes will also be delivered during caroling. Members of the congregation are invited to go along with the youth.

CHRISTMAS EVE LOVEFEASTS, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24 AT 4 PM AND 7:30 PM – The luminaries will line the walk and driveway for the lovefeasts on Christmas Eve.
