He was a rock star, a country music legend and a loving father of four – somehow he made it all work. Conway Twitty’s career began in Rock and Roll and landed squarely in the heart of America as the leading Country Performer of his time with an all time record of 55 number one hits. CONWAY TWITTY: THE MUSICAL is an extraordinary musical entertainment experience comparable only to Conway Twitty’s astonishing live performances. Twitty’s concert performances resembled religious revivals with devoted followers, crowning him “The High Priest of Country Music.” The musical, consisting of two acts, is filled with unforgettable music, humor, true emotion and brilliant performances. This musical journey features over 30 of Conway Twitty’s unforgettable hits including: HELLO DARLIN, GOODBYE TIME, DON’T CRY JONI, CRAZY IN LOVE, LOUISIANA WOMAN – MISSISSIPI MAN, THAT’S MY JOB, SLOW HAND, DESPERADO LOVE, I’D LOVE TO LAY YOU DOWN, THE ROSE, and the enduring IT’S ONLY MAKE BELIEVE. It is a love story – The love affair that Conway Twitty had with audiences worldwide and one of a family united by a father who loved his kids. This is Conway Twitty’s story – Rock and Roll Star, Country Music Legend and loving dad who left us all far too soon.

The Cast & Band:

Conway Twitty - Glen Templeton is a native of Tuscaloosa Alabama. Through his father, Glen was exposed to country artists such as Waylon Jennings, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, and George Jones at a very young age and was hooked. Glen entered many talent contests in and around his hometown and soon relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. He was seen by a Texas concert promoter and proved himself to be a instant hit among Texas crowds of Dallas, San Antonio, and Arlington. He has played with artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Joe Nichols, and more. Classic country as well as current artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Travis Tritt, southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Allman Brothers have helped Glen develop his rockin’ country sound. Glen is an instant stand out in a crowd with his 6 foot

frame, sky blue eyes, and magnetic smile.

Loretta Lynn – Emily Portman is a Kentucky girl who grew up listening to Jim Croche, Creedence Clearwater Revival, 80's rock ‘n roll, Merle Haggard and old country. She started playing the piano at age 12 in church, played in the marching band in high school and began singing and entering karaoke contests. She is a regular performer in Pigeon Forge Tennessee and sings in her own band Kittihawk. Emily also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University.

Kathy Twitty - Amber Hayes is a proud native of Weleetka, Oklahoma. From performing in her own country music shows since she was eight, to being a teenager and touring with the musical Will And The Wind, she has developed her craft as both artist and actress. Since moving to Nashville to pursue a career in country music, she has performed with some of the industry's newest stars as well as the legends. Amber has starred in Spitfire Grill and the musical Could It Be Love opposite Jeannie Seely & Helen Cornelius. She considers her most recent performing role in Conway Twitty The Musical, the story of the legendary Conway Twitty, an opportunity of a

lifetime! When not touring with Conway Twitty The Musical, Amber spends her time performing and songwriting.

Joni Twitty – Tiffany Baldwin a native of Philadelphia, PA, Tiffany Baldwin has appeared on stage, film, and television since childhood. Her most recent accomplishments include a supporting role in the film, Iseeyou.com, opposite Beau Bridges and Rosanna Arquette, as well as a lead role in the independent feature, The Commune, starring Robert Miano and Scott Schwartz. Presently, Tiffany is recording her debut album, Like Home and looks forward to its release in 2009.
