ICS   was   founded   in   1951,   by   Dr.   D.   J.  Jussawalla   and   Mr.   Naval   Tata.   ICS   is  interna%onally   affiliated   and   recognized.  It   is   the   official   delegate   to   the   UICC  (Interna%onal   Union   against   Cancer)   in  Geneva.   It   is   Founder   Member   of   the  Asian   Federa%on   of   Cancer.   It   has   6  branches   and   28   affiliates   covering  various   regions   and   specializa%ons  throughout  India  .It  is  a  registered  Public  Trust  under  the  Bombay  Public  Trust  Act  1950   and   the   Socie%es   Registra%on   Act  of   1860.It   provides   food,   medicines,  transport,   prostheses,   colostomy   bags,  counseling   services,   social   welfare   and  job   placement   services   to   poor   cancer  pa%ents          

 The  dona%ons  received  from  the  investors  of  the  HDFC  Debt  Fund  for  Cancer  Cure,  have  been  used  to  grant  financial  aid  for  medical  treatment  to  521  pa%ents  aggrega%ng  to  Rs.12  Crores.

ac%vity.  

Will  provide  ICS  with  more  funds  and  social  conscious  volunteers.
