The Soberlink SystemThe Soberlink Cellular and Bluetooth are designed for convenient and discreet mobile alcohol monitoring. Both devices use a professional grade fuel cell sensor to obtain the participant’s BAC and facial recognition to verify the identity of the tester.

The Cellular Device uses its embedded cellular capability to conveniently send test results directly online, using Verizon’s private network.

The Bluetooth Device uses Bluetooth to pair with an iPhone or iPad. Test results are sent online through the existing cell service or Wi-Fi connection, allowing for more versatility.

Sober SkyThe test results are stored in the cloud on Soberlink’s Sober Sky Web Portal for remote access by the treatment provider. Sober Sky allows the treatment provider to create a unique testing schedule with reminder text messages for each Client, and set up Contacts to be immediately alerted if a test shows non-compliance.

Q. How do I get started?

A. Contact Soberlink at 714.975.7200. A Soberlink representative will provide assistance with options for implementing Soberlink in your continued care program.

Q. How many tests per day are suggested?

A. Soberlink encourages 2-3 tests per day, taking into consideration any times that may be a trigger for the participant. Informing the participant of their test times reduces anxiety and lowers the likelihood of missed tests, while still providing a comprehensive view of sobriety.

Q. What happens if a participant tests positive?

A. The system will send out an immediate alert to enrolled contacts, allowing for a quick response and intervention. The participant will be prompted to retest in order for the monitoring party to evaluate consumption versus accidental exposure (i.e. mouthwash).
