The solar boat has been developed by Främby Udde Resort in cooperation with the County Administration Board of Dalarna, Dalarna University and the Interreg-project Scandinavian Heartland.
The boat, which was originally developed by a graduate of Dalarna University, now forms a part of the Främby Udde Resort recreation concept. Scandinavian Heartland has coordinated the development and building processes involved; it has transferred the experiences gained and lessons learned to other places. A similar boat will be built at the Savalen Resort in Norway.
