Coverpiù and Archyt panels, engineered to fulfil the exigencies of discontinuous structures, profit from the technology of the steel’s multilayer protection that grants great reliability over time and high performances to the whole roofing system.The multilayer protected sheet, on the upper side of the panel, grants exceptional resistance to corrosion even in marine and industrial atmospheres.It provides excellent sound damping and reduces the noise due to beating rain, characteristic of the normal sandwich panels.Thanks to the particular manufacturing technology and to the profile of the section, the panels are insulated and ventilated, two important properties that allow great performances for thermal insulation and energy savings. Furthermore this determines, for the upper sheet, more favourable operating conditions and constant reliability over time.Due to their exceptional durability Ondulit panels are also ideal for Photo-Voltaic modules.

Monolithic panel formed of, in the insulating part, expanded sintered polystyrene instead of polyurethane as the normal panes; it is their natural evolution. The upper layer is in multilayer protected steel sheets Coverib 1000.

Besides the exceptional durability granted by the multilayer protection, the peculiar profile of the section provides Coverpiù with unique characteristics.

VENTILATION Ventilating conduits allow the free circulation of air between the insulating layer and the roofing element avoiding its excessive heating, granting favourable operating conditions and constant reliability over time.In the same way, the thermal load on the upper side of the insulating material is limited improving environmental comfort indoors.

OVERHANG AT GUTTER LEVEL The overhang at gutter level of just the roofing element puts the heads of the panel away from the runoff of rain and prevents the components from being constantly exposed to humidity. This way the insulating element does not risk to be deteriorated during time and the metal sheets are not subject to corrosion.

ACOUSTICS The sound deadening is granted by the multilayer protection. The noise generated by beating rain on normal metal roofing is abated in a surprising way: in case of rain or hail Coverpiù is 3.05 times less noisy than the normal sandwich panels (ISTEDIL Certificate n°1632/2010 A – B).

THERMAL LOAD The performances granted by Coverpiù assure the respect of the norm regarding the energy savings.In hot weather, under the same boundary circumstances, Coverpiù ensures the best conditions of comfort for occupants (lower temperature of the indoor environment) and a better insulating behaviour compared to the “full” panels in polyurethane available on the market.

LABORATORY TESTS The Coverpiù panel has granted lower values of temperature on the upper side of the insulating material - and, as an expected consequence, lower surface temperatures of the bottom sheet - compared to the normal panels. Furthermore , after tests, the Coverpiù panel has demonstrated an excellent reaction to fire, producing lesser smoke emission compared to the standard versions of other traditional panels (B, S2 –d0 ex class 1).

Archyt

Insulated panels and ventilated

Ideal for curved prefabricated structures with purlins made in Y shape, Archyt is composed of a lower prepainted steel sheet and of an insulating layer in expanded polystyrene with closed cells; The top coat is composed of multilayer protected steel sheets Ondulit with sinusoidal profile. The section allows a micro-ventilation of the lower side of the upper sheet.

The peculiar design of Archyt allows micro-ventilation of the lower side of the upper sheet: between the insulating element and the upper sheet there are channels for air circulation.

VENTILATION The panel’s micro-ventilation improves the overall thermal behaviour of the roofing and, above all, determines for the insulating material and for the upper sheet more favourable operating conditions for their constant reliability over time.

PROTECTION OF THE HEADS The head of the insulating material is protected by a an L shaped bending of the lower sheet. Furthermore the overhang of the upper sheet avoids that the insulating material absorbs and retains humidity: frequent cause of its rapid deterioration and of the consequent corrosion of the lower metal sheet in traditional sandwich panels.

ACOUSTIC BEHAVIOUR For industrial roofing it is important to avoid the acoustic pollution caused by rain or hail fall (directive 2003/10/CE). As shown by certified tests, the acoustic insulation applied on the lower side of the roofing do not solve, unless in minimal percentage, the problem.Only the Ondulit multilayer protection is able to sensibly abate the noise of the rain: it avoids the vibration of the sheet preventing the formation of the noise.

Ondulit has engineered roofing systems to be realized on the construction site, in order to better respond to the needs of any kind of structure. In winter time, the roofing system has insulating properties due to the insulating element.In summer conditions the insulating characteristics of the system are exalted by the ventilation that eliminates the thermal load due to the sun rays. The ventilating section is granted by the use of spacers that create an air chamber between the multilayer roofing and the insulating material.The possible adoption of air extractors allows to further increase the ventilation.Thanks to these roofing systems, Ondulit has engineered solutions that respond concretely to the problems created by discontinuous structures. In particular the possibility to curve them even with variable radiuses.The ventilated and insulated roofing systems use as upper sheet the insulating multilayer protected steel sheets that provide to the whole system excellent sound proofing and resistance to corrosion characteristics.

Ventilpan

Ventilpan is an integrated system for realizing insulating and ventilating roofing on discontinuous structure both curved and straight. Ventilpan represents the evolution of the tested technique of the sandwich panels realized on construction site, as to say of the realization of a roofing through the progressive stratification of independent, separated materials.The Ventilpan system in fact includes coordinated and integrated prefabricated elements with the great advantage to have on the construction site modules ready for an easy and fast erection.

In addition to insulation, Ventilpan is characterized by the ventilation of the cavity, which contributes not only to significantly reduce the heat load on the roofing, but also to ensure superior reliability over time.

SELF SUPPORTING SYSTEM The overload resistance of the package, once installed, is the one proper of its Ondulit-Coverib sheet that constitutes the top roofing surface.

POSSIBILITY OF CURVING IT One of the winning features of Ventilpan is the possibility to install it on curved structures. The insulated ceiling element, in fact, can take a natural curving up to a radius of 1000 cm. The roofing sheet, in Ondulit or Coverib profiles, can be custom tailored and curved at our plant according to the curvature radius required.If the radius is particularly large, it is possible that the Ondulit or Coverib sheets can be naturally curved.Ventilpan can also be installed on variable radiuses.

THERMAL INSULATION the ventilation enhances the insulating capacity of the roofing and dramatically reduces the stresses produced by thermal excursion.

ACOUSTIC BEHAVIOUR Sound deadening and sound damping.Comparative tests carried out in relation to the normal sandwich panels have shown that Ventilpan, thanks to the Coverib sheet as the roofing element, reduces by more than four times the noise level of the roof under the effect of beating rain and ensures an almost double insulation to the transmission of noise between the inside and the outside (and vice versa).

Ondulit has engineered roofing systems that permanently solve the problems of waterproofing typical of the continuous structures covered with bituminous membranes, that require periodic maintenance.In case of a straight or inclined structure (reinforced concrete, brick-concrete or wooden board) the solution of the so-called cold roof, insulated and ventilated, is certainly the solution that assures the best results.Through the use of specific elements (such as omega spacers, polyester panels, rock wool and vapour barrier) the waterproofing problems are solved, and the thermal insulation of the building is improved.Among the various roofing solutions on continuous structures Ondulit has engineered Ventilcover system that can transform a flat roof into a ventilated pitched roof. All solutions include the use in the top surface of the multilayer protected steel sheet which gives to the entire system excellent sound proofing and corrosion resistance.

Ventilcover

Thanks to a set of prefabricated elements coordinated with each other, Ventilcover allows to realize easily isolated and ventilated roofs on flat continuous structures of any kind. A series of telescopic supports, adjustable in height according to the required slopes, is fixed to the structure by Rawlplugs. Above them is placed the supporting structure, made up of metal sections with omega section. On the so prepared structure is then applied the roofing in Coverib multilayer protected steel sheets.The outer metal gutters collect and dispose the water. Specific sheet metal closures ensures air circulation in the

volume under the pitch.

Ventilcover is applicable both on new facilities and for the recovery of damaged flat roofs. Designed according to current Italian regulations on overloading, has a calculation report under the DM 14.01.2008 and certification of mechanical resistance (ISTEDIL, Rome).The version with the load distributor, allows also to intervene on structures that do not have an homogeneous resistance to overloads.

INSULATION The constant ventilation of the empty gap allows the extraction of the air overheated by the summer solar radiation. Conversely, the simple but effective placement of the insulating material on the supporting structure allows you to limit heat loss in winter, resulting in significant energy savings.In any condition, therefore, Ventilcover optimizes the thermal control of any type of buildings with flat roof, with remarkable benefits for the comfort of the rooms below.

HYGRO-THERMAL CONTROL The under-pitch air circulation prevents the formation of condensation and allows you to gradually dispose of any moisture possibly trapped in the previously existing roofing. Characteristic that makes Ventilcover particularly suitable for the recovery of roof with deteriorated waterproofing.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY ASSEMBLY The extreme lightness of all components and the easy assembly allow to reduce the load on the underlying structures.This allows you to use Ventilcover on any type of continuous structure, both for new construction and for restoration of existing buildings. Generally, the new pitched roof remains contained within the height of the outer walls, without altering the appearance and volume of the building.

The two product lines are the fruit of the stabilized partnership with United Solar Ovonic, a U.S. company leading manufacturer of flexible thin-film modules, the Enercover solutions with Unisolar modules provide a superior value for kWh / kWp under real operating conditions of a photovoltaic roof that, in fact, almost never coincide with the optimum conditions of exposure, radiation and temperature.The triple-junction technology ensures efficiency even in conditions of diffuse light and low irradiation. Lightness, versatility of use, flexibility and minimum levels of maintenance are the other winning features of this product range. And, of course, the absolute water-proofing over time.

Enercover Top and Base represent the professional and advanced answer to the request of integration of photovoltaic on the roof: the functional and reliable integration between the photovoltaic generator and building envelope, with the added value of an optimal aesthetic result.

CHOICE OF THE MATERIAL The corrugated sheet, which is both roofing and photovoltaic panel on which are applied the Uni-Solar® laminates, can be made with various metals.

SIMPLE OR INSULATED for the construction of insulated roofs or energy efficiency measures, Enercover base is coupled to the Ventilpan system.The ventilation of the package’s upper sheet’s lower side optimizes the efficiency of the modules by reducing their temperature in the hottest periods. The free thermal expansions of the elements grant greater durability of the entire system.

ALSO FOR CURVED ROOFING Enercover Base is available in curved version for curved roofs, either in its simple version or insulated with Ventilpan. The rib’s section is designed to allow the lateral overlapping with Coverib 850 sheets.

VENTILATED Although to a lesser extent of other technologies, amorphous silicon cells undergo an efficiency reduction with increasing temperature of exercise. The ventilation of the modules ensures a superior productivity during periods of maximum sun radiation.

LIGHT Enercover Base is lighter than photovoltaic roofing made of traditional modules.

The Enercover High Power line includes the solutions for roof with multilayer protected steel sheets and the fastenings for any rigid photovoltaic modules with frame. Enercover HP uses EasyFix, the Ondulit patented system for the application of any rigid modules on the multilayer roofs with trapezoidal profile.With Enercover HP any modules and our roofing become constructive system, solving in a reliable way the assembly between any modules and the waterproofing metal surface. The use of supporting structures that penetrate the roof, in fact, do not fulfil the guarantee on the water-tightness of the roof and, in some cases, may also invalidate the guarantee on any PV module.Enercover HP, instead, grants the water-tightness of the roofing even after the installation of the support system and anchoring of any modules.
