We need 50 volunteers the week of July 23 - 27 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm. There are many different ways to serve. Wednesday Night Pot Luck, July 11 On July 11 join us for the next potluck supper! The church is providing the meat. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to feed 10 people. Our regular Wednesday night suppers will resume in August.
Next Painting Prayer Class will be Wednesday, July 11at 6:00 pm after the Potluck Supper
The third Painting Prayer class is after the pot luck dinner, Wednesday, July 11th @ 6:00 pm. Class fee of $15 includes all materials and instruction. This class is friendly for both the beginner and the more advanced. The theme for this class is “What about you? Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15) Come be part of an interactive art experience as we proclaim the many names of Jesus while turning a blank canvas into a work of praise. Drivers NeededWe are looking for people who would like to drive the “big” bus! If you are interested in obtaining a Commercial Drivers License (the church will cover the fees) in order to drive for all sorts of fun events, please call Danny Rhodes, Administra-tive Pastor at 352-6210.
Missions Sponsored Blood Drive July 8th
The blood drive is sponsored by the BMUMC Missions Committee and will be Sunday, July 8 in the Fellowship Hall from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Our goal is 30 pints of blood. To schedule an appointment, please go to www.redcrossblood.org, click on the top right “Make a Blood Donation Appointment”, and on the next screen enter sponsor code BelleMeadeUMC. To donate you will need a picture ID (Driver’s license, etc.) All ages 16 and up may donate, though a signed parental consent is needed for those under 18.
