Welcome back! I’d like to say thanks to everyone who’s reading this now for...w ell, reading it! And thank you to everyone who commented! It makes writing so much more rewarding :D

Jill and Benjamin invested in some gardening things, and planted tomatoes.

Ben enjoyed giving Jill backrubs whilst she was pregnant.

One night, unfortunately whilst Ben was at work, Jill started to have the baby.

She gave birth to a healthy girl with her own brown eyes, black (until she dyed it) hair and skin tone, which she named Rosie.

When Ben came home, he was delighted with his new daughter.

Page 9: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Jill wasn’t a natural mother, but tried her hardest.

Page 10: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Ben, on the other hand, was a much better parent.

Page 11: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

And as well as caring for Rosie, Ben was bringing in the money.

Page 12: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Oh, Mr. Broom, I love you!” Jill was often found with her aspiration meter in red.

Page 13: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“I’m pregnant!? Again!?”

Page 14: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Ben... Not long ago, before I had Rosie, you said... You said something about your brother,” said Jill, joining her husband on the bed.

Page 15: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“I... I did... Didn’t I?” “Yeah...” “Ok.”

Page 16: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Jill listened as Ben started to talk. “My brother, Kennedy, always wanted to be better than me. I normally beat him at the smaller things in life, like games. But he wanted to be the first to ‘grow up’.”

Page 17: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“He said, ‘If you get married or find love before I do, Benny, I swear I’ll hunt you down, and it won’t be to congratulate you or your wife.’ Jill, I’m worried he meant... He meant kill me... Or you... Or Rosie.”

Page 18: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“I’m sure he was joking...” Jill laughed nervously. “I’m sure he wasn’t.”

Page 19: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Soon it was time for Rosie’s birthday.

Page 20: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

She grew up with her dad’s eyes and mouth and her mum’s nose.

Page 21: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Flying Rosie-Po!” said Ben, throwing Rosie into the air, who laughed.

Page 22: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Jill tried to teach her daughter how to talk, but Rosie was often more concerned about what Ben was doing. “Say ‘daddy’!” “...”

Page 23: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

But soon she had a small concept of speaking. “Where daddy?” “He’s in the garden, Rosie.”

Page 24: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Me go in gart...garden too.” “You can go in the garden when you’re older, Rosie!” “Me want to be older.”

Page 25: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Despite Jill attention to Rosie, Rosie obviously favoured her dad.

Page 26: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Ben, luckily, had a bit of time to spare when he wasn’t working, so he could teach her to walk.

Page 27: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Jill was getting larger and larger, it wasn’t going to be long before she had the baby.

Page 28: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Time flew by, and it was soon time for Rosie’s transition to a child. “Fire!” “No, Rosie. No fire.” “Aww.”

Page 29: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“I can go in the garden, now!”

Page 30: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Rosie was still not a bad looking child and clearly was very excited about the new things she could do.

Page 31: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Aww! I didn’t catch any fireflies!”

Page 32: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Eventually, she did, but I made her let them go.

Page 33: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

True to her word, one of the first things Rosie did was go to the garden and pick the finally ready tomatoes!

Page 34: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Then Jill came and planted some new plants.

Page 35: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

And had to stop because of a familiar pain... “ARGHHH!” “What am I supposed to do?”

Page 36: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“I don’t know, do I!?”

Page 37: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

“Oh! She had it!”

Page 38: The Starcatcher Legacy Ch.2

Please welcome to the family Douglas Starcatcher! He has the same brown eyes and dark skin as his sister, and the blonde hair of his daddy!
