The Statistics are two brothers making honest and powerful Pop-Rock.
With honest vocals and vibrant drums they convey themes such as isolation, young angst, and heartache that listeners not only enjoy but believe in. Though still a young band, these newcomers are making a name for themselves as one of the most hardworking, professional, and down to earth bands on the West Coast scene today.

The Statistics (Darby and Erin Yule) are two brothers from
Prince George, BC. These Northern Boys took up music at an
early age and were soon playing in shows and venues all around
the region. Quickly, they realized that music is not only fun but
it speaks to people on a level the Yule brothers never thought
imaginable.
With that in mind, they created The Statistics. Now, The
Statistics step onstage every time with their hearts on their sleeves
and the electricity of the audience pumping through their veins
and give the audience a reason to listen. Though still a young
band, these newcomers are making a name for themselves as
one of the most hardworking, professional, and down to earth
bands on the West Coast scene today. They are credited with a
successful release of their CD “The Boy Who Would Be King”, two
successful BC Wide Tours, a feature in Monster Energy/Warped
Tour’s magazine “Warped Watch”, Recording at Fadermountain
Sound Studios (Formerly Little Mountain, The Factory) with Producer
Paul Boechler, performing with illScarlett, The Envy, Acres of Lions,
Krome, Bend Sinister, Kingsfoil and 40 Sons. The Statistics have
performed at many stages including Crankworx, Main stage at
Midsummer Festival, Backyard BBQ, The Cellar, Green Slime (UBC
Engineering Frat), The Railway Club, among others.

UNBC Backyard BBQ Testimonial
“This September 2012, the Northern Undergraduate Student Society had the pleasure of welcoming The Statistics to the stage of our 17th annual Backyard BBQ concert. This group played a great show that was extremely well received by our student body and helped make our event a complete success. Darby, and the rest of the band were a very professional group to deal with and we welcome the opportunity to work with them again in the future. Thanks for the great show guys. We wish you nothing but great success moving forward!”
Blog Review of CD
“The Boy Who Would Be King sounds really great. It definitely reminds me of the punk-rock I was bred on as a high schooler in the early ‘00s...and most artists don’t write albums like those any more. Hopefully that doesn’t come off as insulting; really, it reminds me of stuff I’d grab on a Drive-Thru Records comp or see at the Warped Tour. It’s fuzzy, simple, and catchy as hell.”
Fraternity at UBC Testimonial
I’m writing on behalf of Sigma Phi Delta, an engineering Fraternity at UBC. We had the pleasure of having The Statistics play at our annual St Patrick’s Day party. Everyone present had a blast; they played a great mix of classic tunes and their own material. The performance was energetic. The crowd had a blast, and we will be looking at bringing The Statistics back next year. Furthermore, they were very professional in their dealings with us. They communicated with us promptly, arrived at our arranged time, and set up their equipment quickly and efficiently. With all this said, I have no qualms recommending The Statistics as entertainment for whatever event you may have.
