It was almost fall, Mr. Bailey liked this time of year. He was on is way home.Then he heard a thump. He saw a man on the ground but thought it was going to be a deer. The man was going to run but fell because he lost balance.

After the farmer and the man got to the farmers house they called the doctor. The doctor said that the stranger lost his memory. The stranger joined the baileys for dinner.

The stranger was confused by buttonholes and buttons. The steam that came from the soup amazed the stranger. He saw Katy blow gently across her soup and he did the same.

The stranger gets along with animals. The stranger stroke one of the bunnies ears. The bunnies kind of expected the stranger to follow them. When Mr. Bailey and the stranger was out on the field, occasionally Mr. Bailey had to take breaks but the stranger didn’t.

The stranger and Kathy were outside watching the sun setting when the stranger saw a flock of geese going south from the winter. Weeks passed and the stranger still couldn’t remember anything. But the Baileys liked having the stranger around.

The weather was weird. Not that long ago it was like autumn was almost here. The pumpkins grew nice an big. The trees leave was still green from three weeks ago. The stranger went to the highest hill on the Bailey's farm. He saw that the trees on the north were red and orange.

The trees around the Bailey's house were not green. The stranger knew that something was terribly wrong. The stranger grew more upset the more he thought about it. Finally the stranger thought of nothing else so he pulled a leaf and blew on it.

The stranger put on his leather clothes and the Bailey knew he was leaving. The stranger gave them one hug and left. When they went to say goodbye, he was already gone. The weather turned cold and the trees were red and orange. Now that same thing happens every autumn.
