Dua Mashlool by Imam Ali(as) Pg 1 The Supplication of the Lame Man. This supplication is also called “the supplication of the young man punished for his sins.” Being recorded in the books of al-Kaf`am¢ and the book of Muhaj al-Da`aw¡t, this supplication has been taught by Imam `Al¢ Am¢r al-Mu'min¢n (`a) to a young man who was paralyzed due to the wrongdoings and sins that he had committed against his father. After he said this supplication, the young lame man slept and saw in dream that the Holy Prophet (¥) came to him and passed his hand over his body saying, “Hold on to the Greatest Name ( alism al-a`¨am) of Almighty Allah and your deeds will be good.” When he woke up, he found himself healed from lameness. The supplication is the following: ِ مْ سِ ŗ ِ ٱ ٱِ نٰ مْ ح لر ٱِ يمِ ح لرbismi all¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi In the Name of Allah, the All- beneficent, the All-merciful. ٱ مُ ŵ ل لŞĈ ð ِ إ ٱْ س ا كُ لِ ب ا كِ مْ سall¡humma inn¢ as'aluka bismika O Allah, verily I beseech You by Your Name: ِ مْ سِ ŗ ِ ٱ ٱِ نٰ مْ ح لر ٱِ يمِ ح لرbismi all¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢mi In the Name of Allah, the All- beneficent, the All-merciful. ا يٱ ذ ٱ جْ ل ِ ل و ٱِ ٱم ْ Ǣ ِ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi O Lord of majesty and honor! ا ي Ş ò ا يُ وم ي قy¡ ¦ayyu y¡ qayy£mu O Ever-living! O Self-subsistent! ا ي Ş ò Ŷ ٰ لِ إ ِ إ ٱ نتy¡ ¦ayyu l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta O Ever-Living! There is no god but You! ا ي وُŴ ا يْ ن م ُ م لْ ع ś ا م وُŴ huwa y¡ man l¡ ya`lamu m¡ huwa O He Whom none knows what He is, و فْ ي ك وُŴ wa l¡ kayfa huwa nor how He is, و ٱ نْ ي وُŴ wa l¡ ayna huwa nor where He is, وُ ثْ ي ح وُŴ ِ إ وُŴ wa l¡ ¦aythu huwa ill¡ huwa nor in what respect He is, but He! ا يٱ ذ ٱِ كْ لُ مْ ل و ٱِ وتُ ك ل مْ لdhalmulki walmalak£ti O Possessor of dominion and kingdom! ا يٱ ذ ٱِ ة زِ لع و ٱِ وتُ ÚÕ جْ لdhal`izzati waljabar£ti O Possessor of might and invincibility! ا يُ كِ ل م ا يُ وس دُ ق ا ي س ُ مmaliku y¡ qudd£su y¡ sal¡mu O King! O All-holy! O Giver of peace! ا يُ نِ مْ ؤُ م ا يُ نِ مْ ي ŵ ُ مmu'minu y¡ muhayminu O Granter of security! The Supplication of the Lame Man.

This supplication is also called “the supplication of the young man punished for his sins.” Being recorded in the books

of al-Kaf`am¢ and the book of Muhaj al-Da`aw¡t, this supplication has been taught by Imam `Al¢ Am¢r al-Mu'min¢n (`a)

ٱ هم يلل ن اسٱإ لك اب all¡humma inn¢ as'aluka bismika سمك O Allah, verily I beseech You by Your Name:

bismi all¡hi alrra¦m¡ni alrra¦¢miلرحيمٱلرحمنٱٱللهبسمIn the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

ٱي ا لاٱذ ل لج ٱو ٱم !y¡ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi O Lord of majesty and honor لإك

ومي اح ي ي ا ي !y¡ ¦ayyu y¡ qayy£mu O Ever-living! O Self-subsistentق

إله لاح ي ي ا ٱإلا y¡ ¦ayyu l¡ il¡ha ill¡ antaنت O Ever-Living! There is no god but You!

ني اهو ي ا م لام عل اي هو م y¡ huwa y¡ man l¡ ya`lamu m¡

huwa

O He Whom none knows what He is,

لا و يف ,wa l¡ kayfa huwa nor how He isهو ك

لا ٱو ,wa l¡ ayna huwa nor where He isهو ين

لا يثو هو ح wa l¡ ¦aythu huwa ill¡ huwaهو إلاnor in what respect He is, but He!

ٱي ا لملكٱذ كوتٱو ل y¡ dhalmulki walmalak£tiلم O Possessor of dominion and kingdom!

ٱي ا ٱذ ة لعز بروتٱو y¡ dhal`izzati waljabar£tiلج O Possessor of might and invincibility!

لكي ا وسي ام لاي اقد y¡ maliku y¡ qudd£su y¡ sal¡muم س O King! O All-holy! O Giver of peace!

يمني امؤمني ا y¡ mu'minu y¡ muhayminuمه O Granter of security! O All-preserver!

O Almighty! O All-compeller! O All-sublime!

a¦adun equal to Whom is none,

لا و هك ان ع زير م wa l¡ k¡na ma`ah£ waz¢run with Him is no aideو

لا ٱو ذ خ هت ع مشيرٱ م wa l¡ ittakhadha ma`ah£

mush¢ran nor has He taken any adviser,

لا ٱو اج ل حت هير ىإ ,wa l¡ i¦t¡ja il¡ ¨ah¢rin nor needs He any assistantظ

لا و هك ان ع م من إ غ يرهه لwa l¡ k¡na ma`ah£ min il¡hin

ghayruh£

nor with Him is any god but He—

إله لا ٱإلا .l¡ il¡ha ill¡ anta there is no god but Youنت

So exalted are You above what the evildoers say, a great exaltation!

O All-high! O All-lofty! O All-towering!

O Bestower of relief! O Helper! O Giver of victory!

O Comprehender! O Destroyer! O Avenger!

O He Who is not distracted from one labor by another!

ظيم ع ٱي ا !y¡ `a¨¢ma alshsha'ni O Tremendous in rank نالش

ك ان م بكل نهو م !y¡ man huwa bikulli mak¡nin O He Who is in every place ي ا

امع ٱتلاٱي اس و !y¡ s¡mi`a al-a¥w¡ti O He Who hears all sounds ص

مجيب ٱتٱي ا و ع y¡ muj¢ba aldda`aw¡ti لدO He Who answers all supplications!

منجح اتٱي ا لب !y¡ munji¦a al§§alib¡ti O He Who fulfils all entreaties لط

امع ج اتٱي ا ت y¡ j¡mi`a alshshat¡ti لشO He Who gathers all scattered things!

لى ع لعا مط اتٱي ا ي y¡ mu§§ali`an `al¡ alnniyy¡ti لنO He Who is aware of all intentions!

O He for Whom sounds are never indistinct!

في ا مٱي اش ق !y¡ sh¡fiya alssaqami O Healer of illnesses لس

الق خ ٱي ا ورو مٱلن ل !y¡ kh¡liqa alnn£ri wal¨¨ulami O Creator of light and darkness لظ

ٱ ٱي اذ و ٱلجود م y¡ dhalj£di walkarami لك O Lord of munificence and generosity!

qadamun

O He upon Whose Throne no foot treads!

ٱ ي ا د لاٱجو دين y¡ ajwada al-ajwad¢na جو O Most Munificent of the most munificent!

ٱ ي ا م لاٱك مين y¡ akrama al-akram¢na ك O Most Generous of the most generous!

ٱ ي ا ع ٱسم امعين !y¡ asma`a alss¡mi`¢na O Most Hearing of the hearers لس

ٱ ي ا ٱبص ين اظ !y¡ ab¥ara alnn¡¨ir¢na O Most Seeing of the viewers لن

ار ج ٱي ا جيرين y¡ j¡ra almustaj¢r¢na لمست O Protector of those who seek protection!

ٱ ي ا ان ٱم ائفين !y¡ am¡na alkh¡'if¢na O Sanctuary of the fearful لخ

هر ٱي اظ جين !y¡ ¨ahra all¡ji'¢na O Asylum of the refugees للا

لي ٱي او !y¡ waliyya almu'min¢na O Patron of the believers لمؤمنين

اث غي ٱي ا غيثين ست !y¡ ghiy¡tha almustagh¢th¢na O Helper of those who seek aid لم

غ اي ة ٱي ا البين !y¡ gh¡yata al§§¡lib¢na O Goal of the seekers لط

ني مغ ائسٱي ا ٱلب قير y¡ mughniya alb¡'isi alfaq¢ri لف O He Who enriches the miserable pauper!

ة عصم ائفٱي ا ٱلخ جير y¡ `i¥mata alkh¡'ifi almustaj¢ri لمست O He Who safeguards the fearful seeker of protection!

O He Who governs and determines!

O He for Whom the difficult is simple and easy!

O He Who is aware of everything!

ba¥¢run O He Who sees everything!

مرسل ي احٱي ا !y¡ mursila alrriy¡¦i O Sender of the winds لر

الق احٱي اف !y¡ f¡liqa al-i¥b¡¦i O Cleaver of the dawn لإصب

ب اعث ٱحلاٱي ا !y¡ b¡`itha al-arw¡¦i O Dispatcher of the spirits رو

ٱ ٱي اذ و ٱلجود اح م y¡ dhalj£di walssam¡¦i لسO Lord of munificence and forbearance!

اح مفت كل ده بي ن م y¡ man biyadih¢ kullu mift¡¦in ي اO He in Whose Hand is every key!

وت ص كل امع !y¡ s¡mi`a kulli ¥awtin O He Who hears every sound ي اس

وت ف كل ابق y¡ s¡biqa kulli fawtin ي اس O He Who takes precedence over everything that passes away!

ب عد فس ن كل محيي وتٱي ا لم y¡ mu¦yiya kulli nafsin ba`da

almawti

O He Who gives life to every soul after death!

تي عد تيي ا !y¡ `uddat¢ f¢ shiddt¢ O my Provision in my hardship فيشد

ب تي فيغ افظي ح !y¡ ¦¡fi¨¢ f¢ ghurbat¢ O my Maintainer in my exile ي ا

تي حد فيو مؤنسي ¢y¡ mu'nis¢ f¢ wa¦dat ي اO my Intimate in my lonesomeness!

في ي ي ل تيي او !y¡ waliyy¢ f¢ ni`mat¢ O my Sponsor in my blessings نعم

O my haven when the ways make me weary,

تسلمني اربلاٱو wa tusallimun¢ al-aq¡ribu when relatives give me upق

احب ص ي خذلنيكل wa yakhdhulun¢ kullu ¥¡¦ibinو and when every companion forsakes me!

نلا م اد عم ه ي ا ل اد £y¡ `im¡da man l¡ `im¡da lah عم O Backing of him who has no backing!

نلا م د ن ي اس ه ل ن د £y¡ sanada man l¡ sanada lah س O Support of him who has no support!

نلا م ه ي اذخ ل !y¡ dhukhra man l¡ dhukhra lah£ O Store of him who has no store ذخ

نلا م ز ه ي اح ل ز £y¡ ¦irza man l¡ ¦irza lah حO Sanctuary of him who has no sanctuary!

نلا م هف ك ي ا ه ل هف !y¡ kahfa man l¡ kahfa lah£ O Cave of him who has no cave ك

نلا م نز ك ي ا ه ل نز £y¡ kanza man l¡ kanza lah ك O Treasure of him who has no treasure!

نلا م اث غي ي ا ه ل اث !y¡ ghiy¡tha man l¡ ghiy¡tha lah£ O Help of him who has no help غي

اري ج ٱي ا صيق !y¡ j¡riya alla¥¢qa O my Adjacent Neighbor لل

ٱي اركني ثيق !y¡ rukniya alwath¢qa O my Sturdy Pillar لو

حقيقاي اإلهيب !y¡ il¡h¢ biltta¦q¢qi O My God in truth لت

ب تيقٱلب يتٱي ار !y¡ rabba albayti al`at¢qi O Lord of the Ancient House لع

فيق فيقي ار !y¡ shaf¢qu y¡ raf¢qu O All-affectionate! O Friend ي اش

ق ل ضيقٱفكنيمنح fukkan¢ min ¦alaqi alma¤¢qi لم Deliver me from the chains of strictures,

ٱو ضيق و غ م و ه م كل ي ن صفع wa¥rif `ann¢ kulla hammin wa

ghammin wa ¤¢qin

turn away from me every care, grief and distress,

الاٱو م wakfin¢ sharra m¡ l¡ u§¢qu طيقٱ كفنيش protect me from the evil of that which I cannot bear,

ٱ او ل ىم يع wa a`inn¢ `al¡ m¡ u§¢qu طيقٱعنand help me in that which I am able to bear!

عقوب ل ىي ع يوسف ٱد y¡ r¡dda y£sufa `al¡ ya`q£ba ي ار O He Who returned Joseph to Jacob!

ٱ ض ك اشف ي ا وب y¡ k¡shifa ¤urri ayy£ba ي O He Who removed the affliction of Job!

ذ نب غ اف ٱوي ا y¡ gh¡fira dhanbi d¡w£da د ود O He Who forgave the sin of David!

ٱ هود لي

y¡ r¡fi`a `¢s¡ ibni maryama wa munjiyah£ min a y d¢ alyah£di

O He Who caused Jesus, the son of Mary, to ascend and delivered him from the hands of the Jews!

في ٱءيونس ند مجيب اتٱي ا لم لظ y¡ muj¢ba nid¡'i y£nusa f¢

al¨¨ulum¡ti

O He Who answered Jonah's call in the darkness!

ب ي موس مصطفي اتاي ا y¡ mu¥§afiya m£s¡ bilkalim¡ti لك لم O He Who chose Moses by spoken words!

ل نغ ف م ي ا ه طيئ ت خ م د y¡ man ghafara li-¡dama

kha§¢'atah£ O He Who forgave Adam his slip

ته بر حم ليا ع ك انا م إدريس ع ف ر و wa rafa`a idr¢sa mak¡nan

`aliyyan bira¦matih¢

and raised Idr¢s to a high place through his mercy!

من وحا ىن ن ج ن م ر قٱي ا لغ y¡ man najj¡ n£¦an mina

algharaqi

O He Who saved Noah from drowning!

نٱ م ي ا ادٱ ع ك ل ىلاٱهل ¡y¡ man ahlaka `¡dan al-£l وO He Who destroyed `ªd, the ancient,

اٱ م ف ث مود ىو ¡wa tham£da fam¡ abqبق and Tham£d, and did not spare them,

بل منق نوح وم ق ;wa qawma n£¦in min qablu and the people of Noah beforeو

ك انوٱهمٱ هم ٱإن و م طغ ىظل innahum k¡n£ hum a¨lama wa

a§gh¡

certainly, they were most unjust and more rebellious,

ٱٱو فك ة ىلمؤت ¡walmu'tafikata ahwهو and al-Mu'tafikah, He also overthrew.

وملوط ل ىق ع ر م ند م y¡ man dammra `al¡ qawmi l£§in ي اO He Who destroyed the people of Lot

يب شع وم ل ىق ع م مد د و wa damdama `al¡ qawmi

shu`aybin

and crushed the people of Shu`ayb!

ن م ليلا ٱي ا خ إبر ٱهيم ذ خ تy¡ man ittakhadha ibr¡h¢ma

khal¢lan

O He Who took Abraham for a friend!

ن م يك ليم ٱي ا موس ذ خ y¡ man ittakhadha m£s¡ kal¢man تO You Who took Moses for an object of His words,

يهمٱو ل ع آلهو يهو ل ىٱللهع ل ص دٱ م مح ذ خ ت

بيبا ٱ ح عين جم

wattkhadha mu¦ammadan ¥all¡ all¡hu `alayhi wa ¡lih¢ wa

`alayhim ajma`¢na ¦ab¢ban

and took Mu¦ammad, may Allah bless him and his Household, for a beloved!

ان تيلقم مؤ ة ٱي ا ,y¡ mu'tiya luqm¡na al¦ikmata O He Who gave Luqm¡n wisdom لحكم

ٱو ملكا ن يم لسل ٱهب walw¡hiba lisulaym¡na mulkan لو and bestowed upon Solomon a kingdom

غيلا لا ي نب منب عده د ¢l¡ yanbagh¢ li'a¦adin min ba`dihح such as may not befit anyone after him!

ٱ ذ نن ص م لىٱي ا ن ينع لملوكٱلق

ٱ ابر ة ب لج

y¡ man na¥ara dhalqarnayni `al¡ almul£ki aljab¡birati

O He Who gave Dhul-Qarnayn victory over the tyrannical kings!

نٱ م ي ا

ى ٱعط اة ٱلخض ي y¡ man a`§¡ alkhi¤ra al¦ayata لح O He Who gave al-Kha¤ir (eternal) life

and returned the sun to Joshua, the son of N£n, after its setting!

لب ل ىق ع ب ط نر م يٱي ا موس مy¡ man raba§a `al¡ qalbi ummi

m£s¡

O He Who strengthened the heart of Moses' mother,

ٱ و ي م ر م ج ف ن ٱحص ةعمر ٱن بن wa a¦¥ana farja maryama ibnati

`imr¡na

and guarded the virginity of Mary, the daughter of `Imr¡n!

ي ح ن ص ح ن م ي ا ي ك ز ي يبن نبٱامن لذy¡ man ¦a¥¥ana ya¦y¡ ibna zakariyy¡ mina aldhdhanbi

O He Who fortified John, the son of Zachariah, against sins

ي نموس ع كن س ٱو ب ض !wa sakkana `an m£s¡ algha¤aba and calmed the anger of Moses لغ

حي ي ي ابي ك ز نب ش م ي ا

y¡ man bashshara zakariyy¡ biya¦y¡

O He Who gave Zachariah the good news of the birth of John!

من اعيل ىإسم د نف م ٱي ا بذبح بح لذ

ظيم ع

y¡ man fad¡ ism¡`¢la mina aldhdhab¦i bidhib¦in `a¨¢min

O He Who ransomed Ishmael from the sacrifice with a mighty sacrifice!

ه ابيل ب ان ق بل نق م y¡ man qabila qurb¡na h¡b¢la ي اO He Who accepted the sacrifice of Abel

ل ع ج ٱو ابيل ل ىق ع ة عن !wa ja`ala alla`nata `al¡ q¡b¢la and placed a curse upon Cainلل

ىلاٱي اه ازم ل ص د م لمح يهٱحز ٱب ل للهع

آله و

y¡ h¡zima al-a¦z¡bi

limu¦ammadin ¥all¡ all¡hu `alayhi wa ¡lih¢

O He Who routed the parties for Mu¦ammad, may Allah bless him and his Household!

د م مح آل و د م مح ل ى ع ل ص ¥alli `al¡ mu¦ammadin wa ¡li

mu¦ammadin

(please do) Bless Mu¦ammad, the household of Mu¦ammad,

ميع ج ل ى ع ٱو لائك تك م و لين لمرس

ٱ بين لمق

wa `al¡ jam¢`i almursal¢na wa mal¡'ikatika almuqarrab¢na

all the messengers, Your archangels,

ٱ ٱو تك هلط اع عين !wa ahli §¡`atika ajma`¢na and all those who obey Youجم

ٱ ساساو م بكل الك س ة ٱل ا به ك ل د ح wa as'aluka bikulli mas'alatin

sa'alaka bih¡ a¦adun

I beseech You the supplication of every one who has besought you

لى هع ل مت ت ح نهف ع ضيت نر ٱمم اب ة لإج mimman ra¤¢ta `anhu fa¦atamta

lah£ `al¡ al-ij¡bati

and with whom You have been pleased and thus decided to grant his request.

ٱ ٱ ي ا للهي اٱ للهي ا !y¡ all¡hu y¡ all¡hu y¡ all¡hu O Allah! O Allah! O Allah لله

حمن حمني ار حمني ار ي ار y¡ ra¦m¡nu y¡ ra¦m¡nu y¡

ra¦m¡nu

O All-merciful! O All-merciful! O All-merciful!

حيم حيمي ار حيمي ار y¡ ra¦¢mu y¡ ra¦¢mu y¡ ra¦¢mu ي ار

O All-compassionate! O All-compassionate! O All-compassionate!

ٱ لاٱي اذ لج ٱلو ٱم !y¡ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi O Lord of majesty and honor لإك

ٱ لاٱي اذ لج ٱلو ٱم !y¡ dhaljal¡li wal-ikr¡mi O Lord of majesty and honorلإك

ساٱ بكل ٱلك ك فس بهن يت م س سم as'aluka bikulli ismin sammayta

bih¢ nafsaka

I beseech You by every Name with which You have named Yourself

وٱٱ منكتبك يء هفيش نز لت aw anzaltah£ f¢ shay'in min

kutubika

or which You have sent down in one of Your scriptures

بهفيعلماست ٱوٱ يبٱث رت ٱلغ ك ذيعند لaw ista'tharta bih¢ f¢ `ilmi

alghaybi `indaka

or kept for Yourself in the knowledge of the Unseen with You,

اقد ع بم ٱو شك منع لعزwa bima`¡qidi al`izzi min

`arshika

by the junctures of might for Your Throne,

ى ه بمنت ٱو ابك ةمنكت رحم لwa bimuntah¡ alrra¦mati min

kit¡bika

by the utmost limit of mercy from Your Book,

ا بم و﴿و ل ا نٱو ر ة منرضلاٱفيم ج قلاٱش م wa bim¡ wa law anna m¡ f¢ al-

ar¤i min shajaratin aql¡mun

by the fact that, “though all the trees in the earth were pens

ٱو هلب ح مني مد ةب عده بع بح ٱس walba¦ru yamudduh£ min ba`dih¢ sab`atu ab¦urin

and the sea - seven seas after it to replenish it,

ا تم فد اتن ك لم m¡ nafidat kalim¡tu all¡hiٱللهyet the words of Allah not be spent.

زيز ٱلله إن ع كيم ”.inna all¡ha `az¢zun ¦ak¢mun Allah is All-mighty, All-wise﴾ح

ٱ باساو لك ائك ن يٱسم ¡wa as'aluka bi-asm¡'ika al¦usn لحسAnd I beseech You by Your Most Excellent Names

ٱ قلت ف ابك كت افي ه ت ع تين :لallat¢ na`attah¡ f¢ kit¡bika

faqulta

that You have described in Your book thus saying,

لله﴿ اءلاٱو ادعوهالحسن يف ٱسم ﴾به wa lill¡hi al-asm¡'u al¦usn¡

fad`£hu bih¡

“To Allah belong the Most Excellent Names, so call Him by them!”

قلت ونيٱ﴿:و جبٱدع كمست wa qulta ud`£n¢ astajib lakum﴾ل And You said: “Call upon Me and I will answer you.”

قلت إذ ٱ﴿:و و اس ك اديل يعب ن يع إن ف يب ق wa qulta wa idh¡ sa'alaka `ib¡d¢

`ann¢ fa'inn¢ qar¢bun

And You said: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near;

ة جيبٱ عو ٱعيٱد نيإذ ٱلد ا ع ﴾د uj¢bu da`wata aldd¡`¢ idh¡

da`¡ni

I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me.”

قلت اديي اقل﴿:و ٱعب ذين فوٱٱل ل ىس ع

نفسهمٱ

wa qulta qul y¡ `ib¡diya

alladh¢na asraf£ `al¡ anfusihim

And You said: “Say: O My servants who have been prodigal against yourselves;

قن طوٱ لا ةمنت حم ر .l¡ taqna§£ min ra¦mati all¡hi do not despair of Allah's mercyٱلله

ٱلله إن غف ٱي نوب ميعا لذ ج inna all¡ha yaghfiru aldhdhun£ba

jam¢`an Surely, Allah forgives all sins.

ه فورٱهو إن innah£ huwa alghaf£ru alrra¦¢mu﴾لرحيمٱلغ Surely, He is the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate.”

ٱ ٱو ي اإلهيسان ا ,wa an¡ as'aluka y¡ il¡h¢ And I ask You, O my God لك

ٱ و دع ب ي ار ,wa ad`£ka y¡ rabbi I call You, O my Lordوك

ٱ ي او وك ديرج ي ,wa arj£ka y¡ sayyid¢ I please You, O my Master س

ٱ و اب ت فيإج ع ولايطم ي ام ي ن دت ع او م يك wa a§ma`u f¢ ij¡bat¢ y¡ mawl¡ya

kam¡ wa`adtan¢

and I desire for You to respond to me, O my Protector, just as You have promised me—

د ق اٱو م ك وتك ع د ن رت يم wa qad da`awtuka kam¡

amartan¢

for I have called You just as You have commanded me.

اف ب ل اٱيفع ٱم يمنت هلهي اك faf`al b¢ m¡ anta ahluh£ y¡

kar¢mu

So, do to me what is worthy of You, O All-generous!

ٱو ب مدللهر ٱلح مين ال لع wal¦amdu lill¡hi rabbi

al`¡lam¢na

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

ى ل ص آلهٱٱو و د م ل ىمح للهع عين جم wa ¥all¡ all¡hu `al¡

mu¦ammadin wa ¡lih¢ ajma`¢na

May Allah bless Mu¦ammad and his entire Household.

Then you may pray Almighty Allah to grant you your personal requests and they will be granted, Allah willing.

According to the narration mentioned in Muhaj al-Da`aw¡t, one must say this supplication while being in a state of ritual

purity.
