Introduction
The Symantec Technology Enabled Program (STEP) provides a single point of entry for technology partners looking to integrate solutions across Symantec’s product portfolio and capitalize on the latest IT trends. Through a streamlined framework encompassing security, management, data protection and archiving, and storage and availability solutions, the program makes it easier and more rewarding to engage with Symantec. STEP partners can now tap into new, potentially profitable opportunities by bringing a broader array of interoperable solutions to market faster and more efficiently.
To ensure that you have the most recent version of the Partner Program Guide for the Symantec Technology Enabled Program, please go to http://partnernet.symantec.com/ or contact [email protected].
Participation Levels
STEP offers two levels of membership, Base and Technology Track, with increased benefits and investment at the Technology Track level.
Base Level
All STEP partners begin their engagement with Symantec at the base membership level (“Base Level”). STEP partners participating at this level may request access to generally available Symantec software and accompanying software licenses (“Symantec Software”) for limited internal use, product installation and configuration support, the Symantec Technology Enabled Partner logo, and other fundamental program benefits. This level of membership is a prerequisite for all STEP activities.
Technology Track Level
Technology Tracks provide a deeper level of engagement for STEP partners interested in integrating their products with Symantec solutions and gaining access to testing services. Additional benefits may vary by Technology Track, and may include access to Software Developer Kits (SDKs), engineering support, interoperability testing tools, inclusion on the corresponding Symantec Compatibility List, and use of the Symantec Compatible Technology logo or Symantec Certified Technology logo (as applicable), subject to the terms and conditions of the Program Agreement.
