Springs BuildingThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints completed
constructionoftheEagleSpringsmeetinghouseonMarch5.Thisbuilding will serve church members residing in Eagle Springs,Summerwoodandthesurroundingareas.
“We are excited for the new building and to be a part of thecommunity,” said Gary Chapman, bishop of the Eagle Springscongregation.“ThisisthefirstbuildingthechurchhasbuiltinthenortheastpartofHoustonsincethemid-1980s.Itisablessingtoseethechurchgrowinginthearea.It’sabeautifulbuilding,andweareexcitedtoshareitwiththecommunity.”
After breaking ground on Feb. 14, 2009, local church leaderscoordinatedwith SaltLakeCity-based Jacobsen Construction tochoose exterior colors and styles to coordinate with other EagleSpringsbuildings.
